I had one mission today, well 2... well 3... well you get the point. First up was me and the girls picking up Tim from the hospital. We were walking down the hall when we heard the nurse ask Tim who was picking him up, to which he replied a cab

"Is that all we are to you?" Angela asks.

"I'm hurt Timothy, truly" I put my hand on my heart in mock offence.

"Ha Ha Cassie" he says with that Tim look.

"You know, it's funny. He didn't tell us he was getting out. 'Cause he's a tough guy." Talia said.

He did tell me because I'm his favourite.

"Who doesn't need anyone help" Angela finishes.

"Are you three done?" He asked annoyed with our antics.

"Nope smile!" I said as we all leaned in for a selfie.

"Let's go!" Talia said taking hold of Tim's wheelchair.

"Tim I have a question," I said, he nodded at me to continue "Can I be Lucy's T.O. while you are in recovery?"

"I was thinking of asking Wrigley, to test her commitment" he said as we entered the elevator.

"Wrigley is boring and Cassie is an amazing T.O." Angela said.

"I'll see," Tim said.

"Timothy, I am your favourite and I can teach Lucy everything you won't," I said, knowing that this job is so much harder for women.

"1. Not my favourite. 2. She needs this test. 3. No" he replied as we got off the elevator.

"How about I owe you then, anything you want" I tried.

"Fine," he said, I might regret this.

The next morning I was back in my blues. It hadn't been long since I was in them but I still felt weird. Chen didn't know I would be training her until Tim was back and I could see from outside the briefing room, she was nervous.

"Finally, Officer Chen is in need of a training officer until Tim Bradford is cleared for duty, so one of our detectives has offered her expertise. Detective Edwards" Sergent Grey introduced and everyone clapped as I walked in.

"That's it. Stay safe out there. Oh, Lopez, West, see the captain on the way out" Grey finished.

I left the briefing room and waited for Chen to come out, When she did she headed straight for the kit room.

I got to the garage and my phone started ringing, Bethany. Beth was my older sister and was currently planning a wedding. Me and Angela were in the wedding party, Beth and Angela have been best friends since 3rd grade and later me and Angela joined the force.

"Beth, what's going on?" I asked the second I answered the call.

"When can you and Ange come for fittings?" She asked as Chen came into the garage, I signalled for her to wait.

"I'm not sure, why are you asking me about Angela?" I asked her, "Chen can you go find Lopez?" I asked covering the microphone.

"I called Angela but she didn't answer" she replied sounding like she just rolled her eyes.

"My rookie is looking for her now" I replied, immediately kicking myself.

"Rookie? I thought you were a detective. You promised Mom you wouldn't go on patrol again not after what happened" Beth warned me.
