Second Chance 5 | secret secret

Felix does in fact insist on eating downstairs with everyone else and Minho very gladly carries the tray back into the kitchen with everyone following suit, Taeyang still very much stuck to Felix like he never wants to leave again. If things were up to Felix, he would probably also just ask Jisung and Taeyang to spend every single day and night at their place, but Jisung would not take him up on that offer and they both know that too well. Hence Felix never brings the idea up in the first place.

Half the day passes almost too quickly, until Taeyang is down for his nap and Jisung finds the group sitting in the living room when he comes to join them. Felix is cuddled up right between his older brother and Changbin, while Chan is sitting on the other side of the couch, watching them with a smile. One glance at him, their eyes meeting for just a second and Jisung already knows what the next topic of their quieter hours at work are going to be on Monday. Monday, because the cafe is closed on Sundays and was today as well because it is the weekend of their birthdays and one that apparently also had to be extra special. Of course.

Chan is quick to lift his arm and rest it against the back cushions, silently inviting Jisung for a cuddle as well, which Jisung can only chuckle at, but gladly accept regardless. He walks over to Chan, curls up against him and sighs against the fabric of Chan's black hoodie when he closes his eyes and holds him too. Chan is always so warm, so comfortable and nice that Jisung has never not felt absolutely welcomed when he is with him. It means a lot to him to have a friend like Chan and Chan's affinity with him goes just as deep. All platonic, but so deep. Like family. Bang Chan has always felt like family.

Minho's eyes burn holes into whichever parts he can see of Jisung and the younger has to try so very hard to suppress a smile that would have Chan question what exactly he is so excited about. Though he does not have to wait long at all anyway until Changbin decides to break the moment of absolutely comfortable peace and quiet between them.

"So, I was thinking about what we're gonna do when Tae is up again? I mean, I know Lix really loves nothing more than to spend time with him, so I found some place online that I wanted to take the two of them to if that's okay?", he asks and Chan and Jisung just give each other quick, knowing glances, suppressing the urge to smirk and tease their friend about his rather obvious intentions. They also know for a fact that Changbin got Felix a gift that he never actually ended up giving him as of yet, which is half of today, but they figured already that he might want to give it to him when the others are not around.

"Oh? Where? And just us?", Felix asks.

"I mean- it was uhm... it was a three person family package kinda thing and well, I thought you might like it. But it's a surprise and I won't tell you where it is until you see for yourself."

It takes no convincing at all until Felix gives Jisung the biggest puppy eyes and begs him to allow them to take Tae out together. Jisung laughs delightedly in response and nods before he agrees and Felix pries himself off of Changbin and Minho, much to Changbin's more or less well hidden disappointment, to walk over to Jisung and wrap his arms around him before showering his face with peck after peck after peck. It has both of them giggling and the others just giving them endeared glances. Cute.

Felix stays with Jisung and Chan and cuddles right up against the younger of the two, very casually slipping a hand under his knitted sweater to directly touch the warm skin of his muscular torso. Jisung does not mind. They are close enough for this not to be weird. The weirdest thing they have probably ever done was when Felix needed to shoot something for a video in which he was supposed to meet professional swimmers and have them coach both him and Chan so they could compete in the end and see who would win. It is normal for them to make videos like that in which they would do challenges and see who comes out as the winner. What was not quite so normal was that Felix knew he would have to shave literally everything to reduce drag while swimming and asked Jisung to help him out.
