Just as they were about to leave there was a knock on the door.
Orion carefully went to open the door while Jax held me back.
"Danielle."
"Orion."
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm pregnant."
She's what?
"Danielle, do you have any idea what you're saying?" Orion questioned her.
"I do." She said, "Orion, I'm pregnant."
"Look I have to go right now but we'll talk when I get back. Nora will look after you."
"I will?" Orion gave me a look. "Yes I will." I smiled.
The boys picked up all their weapons and left. Great. Me and Danielle. In one room. What could ever go wrong?
"So you're back?" She said.
"Kinda never really left."
"I mean you're back in Orion's life now."
"That's what I meant too."
"And now you're in the mafia."
"Not by choice of course."
"No ones ever here by choice."
"You should sit."
"I'm good, thanks."
The urge I have to just take one of these guns and pull the trigger on my head right now.
"There's a room-"
"I know." She cut me off. "I was here way before you were."
"Of course you were."
She walks away to the room. The boys need to hurry and come back. I was just walking around hoping for them to come back. It's been two hours now. I hadn't talked to Danielle either. Which is good. I don't need to talk to her.
Just then the door flew open. "Whatttt upppp." Jaxon yells.
"Finally. Is everything okay?"
"Everything and everyone is fine. Nobody was there for us to kill."
"I'm gonna go talk to Danielle." Orion said.
"Yea you go do that."
He sighed. "Are you okay? Did she..."
"No, she didn't say anything. She's just waiting for you."
"I asked you a question."
"How do you expect me to be?"
"Nora..."
"You should go and talk to her. She's the one carrying your child, not me."
"I'll fix everything."
"There's nothing to be fixed. She's the one you're supposed to be with. She was always the one for you. Not me."
"You know I loved you right."
"I know so did I. But somethings just aren't meant to be."
"Maybe you're right."
"I'm always right."
He smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek and went to Danielle.
"She has a heart." Ace said with his little to no sense of humor.
"Much less of what I can say for you." I said fake smiling.
"Looks like I get to have you all to myself."
"That's never gonna happen."
"Never say never, amore mio."
Ugh I can't stand him.
"You know I would love to give you a girls night out." Jax jokes.
"And I would love to have one."
"But we have work to do." Dante said.
"And you don't need to be here so we'll take you to Ace's place." Aiden said.
And just like that I was back where I started. Since I can't go back home and since Orions gone too. I have to do something for myself. And I know just the person.
I bust open the door. "I want you to train me."
