She and I started running. And running. It was a long hallway in the cellar. We came across the outside door and started to open it when we heard a masculine voice.

"Where are you ladies running off too?"

We turned around to look at him. "Oh my god."

"Hello Nora."

"Orion?"

"Surprised?"

"What the hell are you doing here? Wait Ace told you didn't he?"

"Told me what?"

"That the Russians took me. That's why you're here. You found me." I ran to hug him and he didn't hug me back.

Why isn't he hugging me back? He always hugs me back. What's going on?

He pushed me away from him. "Get off me."

"Wha- Orion."

"You think I'm here to save you?" He gave a small laugh. "How stupid can you be?"

"Orion. What are you talking about?"

"He's one of them." Seraphina spoke.

I looked back at her. "What?"

"Look at his tattoo. That's the Russian Mafia symbol."

I looked at his hand. It was the odal symbol with the sword in the middle. Oh my god. No. This can't be.

"You- Orion. How- What is happening?"

"Oh Nora. Always so naive. I've been working with the Russians for a few months now."

"Why?" I was tearing up now. How could he do this to me? To Ace?

"Why? Oh well just because."

"So you betrayed your best friend for fun?"

"Are we talking about you or Ace?"

"You know exactly who I mean."

"Last I checked you and I were besties."

"How could you do this, Orion?"

"Enough." We all turned to see Dimitri. No. "Orion. What are you doing down here?"

"I thought I'd see for myself whether or not you're telling the truth about Nora being here. But imagine my surprise..." He looked over at Seraphina. "Mrs. De Luca."

"You're a traitor. You betrayed my son."

"He stole Nora from me."

"What?" I finally spoke again.

"I loved you Nora and he took you from me."

"You know that's not what happened."

"I'm not interested in any of this." Dimitri said. "Guards take her back to her cell and Nora... you're mine."

"No. Orion please. Please don't let him do this."

"I'm sorry Nora. You're on your own." He walked away.

My best friend. My best friend from all of high school. My best friend when I first came into the mafia world. My best friend betrayed me. And now he thinks Ace stole me from him. That's crazy. That's not what happened. And he knows that. But I still don't believe it. There's no way he can do this. Something's up.
