Mrs. Franklin was in the process of having a key made just for Nora so she wouldn't have to continue asking every time she went to the library.

Nora liked this a lot.

It made her smile for the first time that day.

The bad news was Calum decided to make it his mission to follow Nora around whenever she was there. Which happened to be almost every evening.

"You should really get a boyfriend." Calum said, following Nora around the library isles.

"No thanks." Nora said, grabbing an old film copy of The Wizard of Oz to play on the projector.

She turned to walk away, but he followed her again.

"You sure you don't like anyone? I can totally set you up." Calum said, grabbing the movie from Nora's hands.

She wanted to jerk it back but she was afraid of damaging the casing and the film inside. It was very, very old.

"There's no one that would agree to go out with me. I mean I spend my free time here. But I'm totally okay with that. I don't need their validation to know that I'm actually a perfectly fine person."

"It can't be that bad. I mean, to me, you're not too bad to look at." Calum said, handing Nora the case back.

Nora rolled her eyes.

The door was easier to open today. Normally she had to attempt to jerk it open until she got Luke to come over and open it for her.

"You want me to set you up? I'm convinced one of my friends likes you." Calum said, watching Nora fix up the projector again.

"What I want is for you to go away and stop following me around like a lost puppy." She muttered.

"Sorry, can't do that, sweets." Calum smirked at the fact that Nora was growing annoyed with him again.

The projector whirred to life and Nora sat down.

"I saw you talking to that guy with the curly hair outside of the shops earlier. Do you like him?"

Nora tried to remember who she talked to during the day. It wasn't that hard but she always tried to forget about her interactions with other people. She usually regretted whatever came out of her mouth directly after she said it. That was a given.

"Ashton?"

"I guess. I mean he seemed pretty interested in what you had to say." Calum sat down next to Nora, opening his backpack and grabbing a giant bag of gummy worms.

"No. We've been friends for a long time." Nora used the term friends loosely. "Just friends."

"I'm just saying, you look like a girl with a thing for curls."
