Nora didn't mind that Calum was constantly around her anymore. Some days, he was actually pleasant. Other days, he was terribly annoying.
Like today.
He decided to bring the nosiest snack possible: Doritos.
Don't get her wrong, Nora loved Doritos. But right now, she was trying to peacefully watch Dracula and the sound was hard enough to hear without his constant chewing.
"SO what's going on?" Calum asked, still chewing.
Nora sighed for the third time. He kept asking all of these questions that could be answered if he could just stop chewing and actually listen.
"I bet she's a vampire." He said, watching the projection on the screen.
Nora was about to tell him to shut up with all of his questions when the door slowly opened. She watched as Luke stuck his head in.
"Are you guys almost done in here? I might need to use the room for Study group if I can't get the front room open." He half whispered.
"Yeah, sure. Calum's chewing over the dialogue, anyway." Nora said, getting up to turn off the projector.
When the movie went off, Calum finally realized what was going on.
"Hey, no don't do that. I was looking forward to the end!" He said, mouth full of chips.
Luke and Nora looked at each other and back at him.
"Didn't you read the book?" Nora asked as Calum followed her out of the room.
"I skimmed it. I mean I couldn't have missed much right?"
She looked at Calum, watching as he threw his bag away and walked back.
Nora sighed, once more.
"I meant to tell you," Calum said, returning. "I finally found someone who really wants to go on a date with you."
Nora was skeptical.
"Me."
