"ORION!!!!" The captain woke up frantically, as he heard more and more explosions in the vicinity.

"Montreal?" Orion asked Elise, "Dead" She answered.

After feeling his dropped, he sat up, a ricket whistled down to two marines behind the covers. As it blew up, two of them were thrown out if cover, one was shot to the head and the other screaming for a medic.

"SOMEONE GET THAT FUCKER!" Orion screamed at the marines, after repositioning, Elise took out the enemy with the rocket launcher. Orion then ran up the unlucky marines, the headshot was clean, no way to save him, grabbing the dog-tag, Orion moved on the other blown up marine, he was okay but was in pain

"PULL BACK! FOLLOW ME!" Major Livingstone send out to the comms for us to retreat, Orion without hesitation picked up the fallen Marine and helped him to fall back.

"ARRGGHH!!!" The scream amplifies as Orion recognized the voice, looking to the left he saw Elise's left arm getting punched back, and fell backwards. Orion out of his conscious, sprinted towards her but a hail of bullet stopped him. After a brief moment, he was pulled back by a marine. The back of his collar was pulled and both of them dropped behind cover, Orion dropped to his butt while the marine was crouching. Thinking that Orion's legs were still exposed, the marine immediately pulled him back.

"LET ME GO!" Orion exclaimed in fear and worry "Sir! We're zeroed! You run straight across, you're a dead man!" The marine protested, "NO! I NEED-" Before he couls say anything, Pedro came up and picked up Elise and fireman carried her as they retreated.

"See? She's fine sir! Let's go!" The marine pulled Orion up as they retreated back. "Come on sir!"

After they all entered the artifact, Orion noticed they were trying to shut the door in. When they did, the door shut and they took cover further in. Orion wasting no time immediately ran up to Elise and wanted to patch her up but was shoved by Pedro.

"HEY BACK OFF! YOU LEFT HER IN THE OPEN!!" Pedro's vexing tone ticked off Orion's mind

"PEDRO! GET AWAY FROM HIM! HE WAS DOING HIS JOB!" Elise protested

"HIS JOB?! HE HASN'T SAVE ANYONE TODAY! ALL OF THEM ARE DEAD!" Pedro retaliated. As those words hits Orion, he shuts his mouth before he could say anything and almost teared up from guilt

"Lieutenant sir, I can vouch for the Captain," The marine spoke up as he saw Orion in distress "He saved a marine just now, further add his priority shifted to her when she was shot, I was there, he was willing to die to get to her, I had to hold him back-"

"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE LET HIM 1ST SERGEANT, HE WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING WITH HIS LI-" Pedro shouted out

"PEDRO! ENOUGH!" Elise screamed

"ALL OF YOU KEEP IT DOWN!" Major Livingstone breaking the fight and joined in "Lieutenant you will sign an extra duty for reducing morale, you hear me?! Orion, do your job patch up the wounded, and please wipe that chicken experession off your face"

Both of them exclaimed "YES SIR". Pedro then stepped and let Orion walk through, he then helped Elise first and checked her arm, luckily, the armour stopped the bullet enough until it only grazed her skin.

"Rion, I know it's your job, but you have to toughen up, you can't let him soeak to you that way" Elise spoke softly

"No, he was right about today, I was sloppy-"

"No Rion, you are not, no one could have predicted that, plus I was out of cover, I was to blame, but then again, you need to fight as well, I don't wanna see you die because you couldn't put a bullet in your enemy" Elise said in a somewhat annoyed tone.
