"Marcelo's Drunken bar"
Well, that's the name of the bar, perhaps..
Sherrinford was a little uncomfortable with the place. And since it's early in the morning, the shop is currently empty. Perfect time to interrogate some witnesses. Xavier and Sherrinford sat on a chair, he called for two whiskey's. Sherrinford refuses to drink since he doesn't like the taste of alcohol, but Xavier already called for it.
Marcelo arrived with two whiskey's and sat with them. He asked;
"So, Xavier my old friend, any new cases you got that I could answer?"
Xavier replied; "so regarding with the morning's murder, do you have any idea who's the last person this Laura smith went with before her passing?"
Marcelo shouts "Ah! I saw her last night with a charismatic man, brown hair and blue eyes."
Xavier and Sherrinford both look at each other and asked, "pardon?"
Marcelo gave them a confused look and said "yeah? Does any of it ring a bell to you? I believe that man was somewhere around the block. I frequently saw him but never actually get to talk to him. So no idea what he sounded like."
Sherrinford and Xavier suddenly got a clue on their first suspect. Xavier immediately calls for his men and ordered his messenger to ask for a brown haired man with blue eyes somewhere in Whitechapel.
Just before Xavier and Sherrinford leave the bar, a mysterious man asked the inspector if they could play a little "card games", but Xavier refuses, telling him that there's no time for games.
Just as they walk out, the mysterious man accused Xavier to be a coward and know nothing about cards. Xavier, being prideful and such, lift the man's shirt up and told him to play.
Sherrinford was annoyed but at the same time, he thinks that the man has something to do with their first suspect. So, Sherrinford volunteerly told Xavier to let him play for his place. Xavier agreed. The man smirks and told him that they're gonna play rounds, he agreed.
Sherrinford put something on Xavier's pocket before he sat down. The mysterious man smirks and handed some cards. Sherrinford got a royal flush immediately off the bat, he was surprised, he wonders if it's pure luck or is it planned? Sherrinford looked at the man and he felt something was off. Xavier then left the room and told Sherrinford that he's gonna smoke.
The game lasted almost immediately and told the mysterious man that he won, but the man reminds him that they're playing by rounds, so he got annoyed. Sherrinford won 3 consecutive wins and got almost 45 pound gold. The man, instead of grieving, he smiles and smirks. It's been 45 minutes and the man ran out of money. In summary, Sherrinford got 98 gold while the man got nothing.
Just before the man left, Sherrinford asked him, "does the death of Laura smith a concern to you?" The man was shock, Sherrinford was right off the bat. He then made a deduction.
"First and foremost, when you heard about the identity of the man Laura was with before her passing, you got an interesting look on your face. And so, you contacted your mate before we move and smirk as if you have already won. Secondly, you asked Xavier to play some card games so that you could distract him and give your buddy some time. Lastly, have you not realize that Xavier hasn't come back yet for almost 40 minutes?"
The man, in shock, decides to flee, but the yard and his buddy is already outside of the bar. Xavier and his men have apprehend some suspicious people and had put them to interrogation room. Xavier told Sherrinford that they had found the brown haired man that they are looking for. His name is Rakkan.

Sherrinford then told Xavier that the mysterious man might "know" something about her death and asked him to interrogate them immediately.
Scotland yard, interrogation room.
Xavier pointed a gun at the man's head, feared by his actions, the man confess.
"We are part of an organization that Laura was suppose to negotiate with, but an unknown scene occure. Because of her death, we were unable to negotiate. So we decided to sneak in her house. But unfortunately, we cannot find the documents elsewhere."
Sherrinford then got the idea that the brown haired man got it, and before Laura unalives herself, she gave the documents to the boy. And since the boy is delivering newspaper, he can hand them over to journalist and spread the information inside those documents.
Xavier and Sherrinford immediately rushed towards the suspect's house.
Who is Rakkan? And why did he involve himself with Laura?
