Case 2 Chapter 3: Diary

While the two of them are getting ready to visit a friend of Sherrinford, he then adds something before leaving;

"Mrs Evans, why don't we interview his co-workers before we visit my old friend, no?"

Xavier agrees with Sherrinford's suggestion and Mrs Evans told them that she knows few of his colleagues that know him so well. She suggested to go in his clinic first since Dr. Evans' friends are all nurses.

As they arrive on Dr.Evans' clinic, one of the nurses saw the familiar face of Mrs.Evans and immediately confirm if it was her. She told her that she's Dr. Evans' wife and they had came to investigate the office of his late husband. The nurse, immediately let the three of them through.

While they're walking towards the office, Sherrinford whisper;

"Hey, what about the household?!" He cried, "isn't it dangerous for people to go there especially when the criminal is still on loose!?"

Xavier laughs hysterically and told Sherrinford; "the house is under control of my authority, assistant of mine had completely surrounded the building incase of another attempt of murder occurs."

Sherrinford gives in a huge sigh of relief.

They had arrived at the office and Sherrinford immediately came in to investigate. Xavier asked the nurse if they have all the list of his recent patients, the nurse nodded. Sherrinford found something under the desk and smiles, he said "Interesting, I never knew he's involve with this."

Xavier, confused, tried to asked Sherrinford but the list came more fast than he anticipated. Sherrinford asked Xavier if there's a man named "Andy", to Xavier's surprise, there was a man named Andy. Sherrinford asked for his personal data, Xavier shouts;

"Andy Ramirez, 42 years old, came from Mexico that now works at a local coffee shop. Some sources claims that he's working through the underworld as a information breaker, but none of the evidences are strong enough to prove against him. His favorite snack is bread and his favorite hobby is to-"

Sherrinford stops him and told Xavier that it's enough. Sherrinford then told Xavier that "Andy used to work as a man who solds information. But after the government found him, he now work under our father. I can contact him after our investigation."

Afterwards, they had left immediately and start going to Dr.Evans' friends. They all claimed that the late doctor never had any enemies nor anyone he secretly hates. Infact, he's the most peaceful guy on the whole entire group. So seeing the doctor missing is such a heartbreaking news for them. They, aswell, tried looking for their friend but he really did vanish out of blue.

The wife mourns and everyone comforts her. Sherrinford felt something suspicious but he didn't pay much attention to it.

Sherrinford then asked, "Any idea what's his primary motive of leaving?" None of them knows why except for one.

A friend of his recall a plan of retiring his job and work as a musician. The doctor said it the day before his disappearance. He plans on going somewhere in Europe along his wife, but he did not anticipate that he will "abandon" his job and also someone he love.

Sherrinford smiles and told Xavier to follow him. Xavier asked the reason, but he just purposely said "the man right there, is suspicious alone."

Xavier asked; "how? He look very trusted?"

Sherrinford cries and said "words and looks can be tricky sometimes my good friend, his dream of becoming a musician is not true. Hence, his wife isn't aware of it. Now you may asked, what if it's a surprise? Well surprise surprise, I have this diary found under his desk and apparently, none of the pages said he plans on becoming a professional musicians. All of the diary claims is that he's stressed out and need a vacation. Well, most of the pages are ripped and I'm guessing that's the day he left. Could it be he's being traced down?"

Xavier, amazed by his deduction, decides to order one of his trusted men to spy on the said so friend of the late doctor. Now, Sherrinford finally has the time to talk to his old friend.
