" Sidharth " Shehnaaz called him out and he looked at her lost, he had been the same for the past month and Shehnaaz could not change it.
It was as if he didn't want to accept the reality.

" Hmm " He spoke looking at her for a second and smiling at her slightly

" Khana" She asked softly
" Mood nhi hai " He spoke and stood up taking a cigarette out of the pack but she held his hand.

" Sidharth accept it baba, denial main rehne se it will only hurt you " She spoke trying to not break down herself

" You won't understand the pain Shehnaaz " He spoke, rude because he had still no idea that she lost two pieces of her life and he lost one

" Yeah Right " She spoke and stood to leave against herself, she wanted to hurl up in the bed and cry but she know she couldn't.
She had to work and she needs to divert her mind

" You will go to the hospital? " She asked hoping this time the answer would be yes but she was in a delusion she believe

" Nahi " He spoke
" Vapis kab tak aayegi " He asked looking at her one last time before he stepped into the balcony

" It's not military anymore for me, no fixed timing Sidharth, Private hospital hai I don't know " She spoke and picked up her bag and looked at the lunch box Radha Aunty, their new househelp prepared for her.

" Ye lunch hai kha lena, Radha Aunty might not be able to come in the afternoon " She informed and went out

" Shehnaaz " She heard Abhi calling her when she was about to sit in the Thar, The mornings in Ambala were sweet, not fancy hectic yet simple breathable

" Tu yahan " She asked, he had his flight back to Ladakh at 8 and it was  9 right now

" I just couldn't leave " He spoke and she looked at him, he was all grown up in a day, Leaving Shruti was something that took away the childlike innocence he had, he was forced to grow up in a bad way just like Sidharth was a month back

" I just wanted to meet you once " He added and she slightly smiled

" Kab theek hoga sab Abhi, thak gayi hoon main " She spoke and he pulled her in a hug, a hug that was brotherly to her yet she wanted these arms to be of her husband, she wanted to share that he wasn't the only one suffering here, they both were equally

" Shhsh" He spoke patting her head, he had seen her breaking after Man's demise and her miscarriaging right after, but Sidharth was in such a state of shock that he didn't even realise Shehnaaz wasn't there the next day
She didn't want to add on his troubles but his constant taunting was something she wasn't able to handle.

" I miss being Happy Abhi, I had to leave my job because I could have never Left Sidharth alone in such a state of mind, and I don't regret, I don't but it's just one side I broke the promise that I made to my father and the other side Sidharth has forgot he has a life to live" She cried after a whole month and he felt bad for her

" Why can't we both be happy Abhi, Why ? " She asked crying and he couldn't help but look at her feeling bad for her

" It's okay Shehnaaz, Sab theek ho jayega, give him some time " Abhi spoke

" I can't even mourn the death of my child Abhi, because he is just not ready to take another stress in his way" She added and he let her cry because there was no way he could help her
