Everyone walks back into the apartment and to Paul and Amanda's room. "Okay, Amanda, where are we gonna go while the war is going on?" Asked Justin. "We'll stay in Metropolis. After all, it's been a long time since we've gone there." Said Amanda. "And we haven't seen Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman since our rematch with Lady Morgana." Said Max. "Yeah." Said Alex sadly.

Max pats his sister's shoulder. "Sorry, Alex." He said. Alex pats her brother's hand. "Don't be." She said. "Hey, where's Odette?" Asked Paul. "I'll go look for her." Said Derek. He steps out and finds his wife with her back against the wall in the hallway.

Odette sadly sings about how her husband is going to war and wants to go with him.

Odette: The cold war is raging
Derek has to fight

"Derek, I'm not usually one to beg, but please reconsider! I almost lost you when you went to Unscapable Island by yourself!" Said Odette. "Look, I know this is a lot to take in, but someone needs to protect England. Well, Paul may have volunteered to go, but he's gonna need backup during the war." Derek said. "What if...?" Odette began. Derek puts his finger on her lips. "I will come back, I promise." He said.

Tears fill Odette's eyes. "I trust you, darling, but what if you don't?" She asked. "Odette, my love, keeping not just the country safe, but you as well, is what's more important." Said Derek. "I know, but think about all the times you've risked your life for us." Said Odette. Derek kisses her forehead. "It's an honor to protect England and my family." He said. "So you'll die for honor?" Odette asked. "I'll die doing what's right." Derek said.

Even though it's hard to hear, Odette knows Derek is right.
