We meet a crazy dog lady

Percy walked off towards a desk that was near by, opening the book that was there he flipped through before stopping on a page near the middle,

"Hermes express, she ships these things all over," he looked at Annabeth as we all walk over "some of it goes to Olympus,"

"Percy you can't ship medusas head to Olympus," Annabeth looks at him unamused "why not?" Grover looks towards me and Annabeth before she speaks again "because the gods won't like it," "at all,"

"I personally think it would be funny," both of them glare at me and Percy smiles before turning to the others "why? That's what you do with dangerous stuff like batteries, you just send 'em back from where they came from,"

"Okay. Look this is a bad idea," I walk towards Percy and look at the book of adresses "they will see this as impertinent," Percy pauses what he's doing and looks at Annabeth "I am impertinent,"

"Yes but we're not," I look over "really, we're not," "I am," I'm ignored as Percy carries on 'okay then' "look, Medusa tried to derail our quest. She has serious beef with your mum, and has kept Finn down here for who knows how long," he looks at me and I nod at him

"If you look at it that way this seems kinda like tribute or something, doesn't it?" Neither of them reply so he continues, taking the hat off of medusas head that he'd put in a box "and besides, this way part of your mums still with us,"

He holds out Annabeth's hat for her to take "thank you," they make eye contact for a few seconds, I glance at Grover but he's already looking at me,

Once he notices I'm looking he quickly turns away with a slight blush causing me to chuckle quietly, Percy continues to pack up medusas head "so this isn't exactly what I meant by choosing each other,"

Percy tapes the box closed "there are actual dangers here that cannot be-" he's cut off by Percy who starts clapping, I look at him confused but the other two seem to know what's happening,

"You're gonna sing the song aren't you?" Grover asked with slight disbelief, Percy just starts clapping faster "okay,"

"Oh golly~ the roads getting bumpy~," "whatever," "consensus~,"

A few hours later

We had been walking for a while when we saw a town in the distance "do you think we could catch the train?" Percy turns to Annabeth "shouldn't be too hard, but do we have enough for Finn too?"

Percy looks at the money he'd stolen from medusas stash "there should be enough," he looks at her and she nods, I stay quiet as I walk slightly behind the trio,

Grover notices and slows down to match my pace "you ok?" I turn to him "yeah I'm fine," he nods and we walk in a comfortable silence for a while,

"Hey you two there's a train station over there let's go," Percy points somewhere to the left, the sun had already set by the time we got into our section of the train,

We all decided where we were sleeping and dosed of not long after,

Sunrise

"Hey, you asleep?" Percy voice rang through the cart waking me up "yeah," I grumble out tiredly, there's a small pause after I talk "yes," Annabeth reply's,

"You and Thalia were really close, right?" I turn over so I'm facing the other two "yeah," "what was she like?" I listen to there conversation, I couldn't get back to sleep,

"Why," there's another pause "she was the last forbidden kid before me, right? She must have delt with the same kinda stuff," Annabeth doesn't take her gaze off the ceiling,
