"Okay, I've got some updates," Grover walks over to us, I've decided to put who my mother is at the back of my mind for now and focus on the quest, I'll process what Annabeth told me later,

"The men driving this truck, not nice people. Traffickers," Annabeth thinks for a second "we can do ur best to help all these animals escape," I nod along before walking towards Hypnos,

I crouch down next to his cage "hey one quick question," he hops forward so I can see him "how do I get you out of this?" I gesture to the cage 'your powers may help, focus on the lock and think of what you want to happen'

I take a deep breath and do as he says, I lightly place my fingers on the lock focusing hard on opening it, after a few seconds I hear a click and the lock falls to the floor,

I open my eyes and see the same mist, I make a left swipe with my hand and the door to the cage opens 'how wonderful it is to see that first hand' I smile at him and offer my forearm for him to stand on,

A loud clash catches my attention, I look over to see Percy using riptide to slash open locks "at least I can be quiet," I roll my eyes at the clanging,

I start unlocking more cages and meet the other three near the back of the truck "is that all of them?" I take a quick glance back to check "from what I can see, yeah" Grover nods,

Hypnos was now perched on my shoulder 'you should open the door now before they get impatient' I nod and walk to the door, focusing as well as I can I will myself to open the door,

Feeling a breeze form in-front of me I open my once closed eyes and see a huge shadow like cloud covering the door, to my left the others were stood there in shock Percy's mouth wide open,

A huge bang sounded and both doors swing open, the animals start piling out as Grover makes a gesture to each one, we follow them out once the truck was empty,

Moving to the side of the road we all turn to looks at the carnage we created "this seems dangerous," Percy stated "oh they'll be totally fine, I gave them a satyrs blessing so they'll be able to reach the wilderness safely," Percy interrupts Grover "I meant for the people," he looks back at the road,

"Oh... them. Well, I mean, I'm sure they'll. yeah, I don't know but the animals are all set," he smiled "okay, come on before the cops show up," Annabeth turns to us, I look behind us,

"So, how do we know which hotel is the lotus?" Percy asked "I don't know maybe the one with the giant definitely not noticeable lotus flower on it," he looks at me and I give him a sarcastic smile pointing behind him,

"You'd already seen it shut up," he rolls his eyes and shoves my shoulder playfully, laughing lightly, Annabeth smiles slightly before walking off with us following close behind,

"So what will you do after the quest is finished?" I asked Hypnos from my shoulder 'I would stay with you if that is what you wanted' "wait like live with me?" He shakes his feathers 'if you wish me to then yes',

"I would love if you'd stay with me," I pat his head 'then I shall stay' he rubs against the side of my head,
