authors note ; ooo. thank you all for waiting and for making you wait 🥲 ooo. i finally got the writter curse, i slipped on ice and broke my foot, and it wasn't just regularly breaking it, I SAW THE BONE AND I WAS MORTIFIED 💀
ooo. after a minute or two, there was a odd sound, making me look out at the water's, "what's that sound?" Chopper asks, and then I pause in remembrance, "so that's it? Naim, i see it!" Robin calls out, "really?!" Nami replies, "The mysterious sea current!!" Luffy exclaims in excitement, making me deadpan as i snap my head at him, "don't get excited mor- OI!! WHY ARE YOU BEING EXCITED ABOUT SOME CURRENT?!" I went to scold Luffy, but he and the boys- except for franky- run towards where franky was- making me sigh out in annoyance, while sanji was using his IV thing to walk, of course i joined at the front of the ship with the rest of them, i was now wearing a red jacket that Nami handed to me.
"So this is the current that runs all the way to the depths." Zoro says with a sleazy smirk, "the down flow: plume!" Nami exclaims, and I was silent, though i had a ghost of a smile that was full of memory, "AWESOME!!" Luffy yells out in awe, making me deadpan at him, "this is almost like... AN ENORMOUS UNDERWATER WATERFALL!!" Usopp yells in disbelief as we were sailing forward, and i was trying to think what was going to happen when we get to the edge of the underwater waterfall as it was fleeting from my thoughts- i had a hold on my chin
"That's so cool! The water keeps falling all the way to the bottom! It's unbelievably fast!" Luffy calls out, "sure." i hum out as i was trying to remember what should happen after getting to the edge, "very impressive nature." Franky comments in awe.
"What a massive current! I wonder how manu hundred meters across it is?" Robin wonders, "seeing it for yourself is completely different from hearing stories about it!" Brook says as Usopp looks down before his eyes bug out and nearly pop out.
"I CAN'T SEE THE BOTTOM! IT'S PITCH BLACK DOWN THERE!! IT'S ALL OVER IF WE FALL AT THAT SPEED, WE'LL CRASH INTO THE OCEAN FLOOR!! WE'LL DIE!" Usopp panics, and I blink my eyes as i feel like i nearly remember what's too come- but it's just a bit hard to remember it
"Are you sure we'll be fine riding this current?" Nami asks, and i look over at her, "don't worry about the ship- it'll survive, the ship i was on last time survived" i tell her, before snapping my fingers, "oh i remember now! When we go over the edge we... we start falling downward and... oh shit- we should probably move out the way, there's a monster down there." I say, "A- A MONSTER?!" Chopper shrieks in fear just as it appears, causing fear throughout Usopp, "IT'S A KRAKEN!!" Usopp shrieks out in fear as it scares both Brook and Chopper, "AHHHH!!" They shriek- making me deadpan at them, "THE INCOMPREHENSIBLY GIANT MONSTER OCTOPUS!!" Usopp freaks out, I just ignore him this time, "it's crushing several ships at once. It has been preying on the ships that pass through here." Franky says as we look over the railing, "PLEASE!! I DON'T WANNA DIE!!" Caribou freaks, "oh, your still here?" Zoro says, making me gain a irk mark at the tree head's idiocy
