Heavy breathing sounded in Keira's ears. Keira moved her hand to wipe her eyes but was blocked by the weight of another person. Keira squinted and looked to see red hair resting on the left side of her chest. Keira blushed and looked away, lifting her other hand. Keira wiped her eyes and moved her right hand around on the floor searching for her phone by touch. Keira found it and lifted above her face to look at her screen.

The bright lockscreen showing a picture of Keira and Cora. The clock read 5:23 . Keira groaned quietly. Lydia moved closer to Keira's scent gland. Keira almost dropped her phone on her and Lydia's faces. Fuck. Lydia's mouth was so close to the sensitive scent gland. Keira craned her neck away from Lydia. Ignoring the whine her wolf wanted to let out, she looked away from Lydia. She inhaled deeply and pushed Lydia off her lightly and stood off the couch.

Keira walked to the kitchen and sat down at the table. She looked around, admiring the home. She looked down and looked at her phone again. She paused at the lock screen and stared at the picture of her and her twin. Keira put her phone face down and rested her head on her arms. She took a deep breath and focused on the broken connection, trying to get it back. Because fuck, she needs her twin back . Keira felt a tug at her heart when she felt nothing. Dammit .

Keira stiffened when she heard a rustle. She looked up at the couch to see Lydia sit up and look back at her. Keira smiled and grabbed her phone and walked to the couch. She sat down next to the red head. Lydia raised an eyebrow.

"You okay?" Lydia put some hair behind her ear.

Keira smiled softly. "I'm alright, didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't." Lydia smiled.

Keira smiled back. "I'm going to make some pancakes, want some?"

Lydia smiled confused. "What time is it?"

Keira looked down at her phone. "It's 5:40 ."

"Oh, it seemed like it was earlier." Lydia laughed slightly.

Keira smiled and walked to the kitchen to start with breakfast.

Scott grumbled low in his chest and leaned closer to the hard chest his face was nuzzled in. Scott tightened his grip on Issac and sighed. Scott let go and slowly got off the bed. Scott sniffed the air, smelling pancakes and eggs. Scott smiled and wondered who was cooking. Lydia's low laugh made Scott realize.

Lydia laughed when Keira spun her around in the middle of the kitchen. Lydia wrapped her arms around Keira's neck loosely. Keira smiled and put her hands on Lydia's waist. Lydia smiled and twirled both of them in a slow circle. Keira looked down to Lydia's lips and felt her stomach flutter. Keira's eyes flashed blue for a moment causing Lydia to be shocked. Keira saw the look of shock on her face.

"What's wrong?" Keira tilted her head slightly.

"Your eyes," Lydia held Keira's gaze. "They turned blue for a moment."

Keira stiffened and let go of Lydia's waist back up slightly letting Lydia let go of her neck. Keira felt the vulnerability that she felt when she killed her best friend. Keira inhaled and looked up at Lydia but avoided her gaze.

"Sorry." Keira swallowed.

"It's okay. No need to worry. I get that it's hard to control sometimes." Lydia smiled gently.

Keira looked up when she heard small mumbles. Scott, Allison, and Issac stood there quietly and watched. Keira shook her head and laughed. Lydia looked confused and saw the three standing there. Lydia gasped and hid her face in her hands.

Issac laughed and walked towards them with Scott and Allison following.

"Love birds." Allison murmured.

Keira rolled her eyes and put the freshly off the oven pancakes on plates to feed the three.

Later the rest came down and ate and complemented Keira's pancakes. Derek smiled when he saw Keira's faint blush on her face while she was talking to Lydia. Derek nudged Peter and pointed to his sister. Peter swallowed his pancakes and looked up and smirked. Keira glanced up and sent them a glare to not say shit. Derek chuckled and smiled softly.

Once everyone was done eating, Derek pulled Keira aside when the pups and Peter were cleaning. Derek used a soft growel to let everyone know not to listen. Keira looked confused.

"What?"

Derek inhaled afraid of how to bring the question up. "I think it's time to tell the pack about Cora. Stiles is close to figuring something out. He knows I'm hiding something from the rest of the pack. Issac is distancing himself and is starting to worry."

Keira paused and nodded her head. "Yeah, that's okay."

"Thank you." Derek smiled.

Derek turned to the pack. "Everyone come to the living room when you get done."

Keira walked to the living room and sat down. Everyone followed suit, quickly getting done. Lydia sat next to Keira and smiled. Derek sat down in the arm chair so everyone could see him.

"We have an issue. My sister; Cora is missing." Derek paused. "Keira has lost the twin bond that her and Cora had.

Keira tensed at the past tense use of the word 'had' involved with her twin bond. Derek said it as if was too hard to say. Everyone silently glanced back at Keira. Keira sighed and looked down.

Fuck.
