VISENYA AND AEMOND TARGARYEN were making their way to the beach to retrieve their dragons. The last they heard about Criston Cole and Daeron is that they were at Harrenhal. Daemon had won Harrenhal for their side earlier with no bloodshed, and now Daeron Targaryen had slaughtered all of the people there and taken a war prisoner named Alys Rivers. Now, they were making their way toward the Blackwater Rush, that is where Visenya, Aemond, Cregan, and his men would intercept them. Rhaenyra wanted her brother Daeron brought back alive, but she didn't care whether Criston was brought back alive or dead.

Visenya wanted to present his head to her mother like a prize.

"The last piece of the puzzle, and then we can retire to Dragonstone," Aemond said as he and his wife approached the beach. Visenya looked over at him and nodded.

"Yes... It is so close that I can feel it, but what if something goes wrong?" Visenya asked.

"We fly two of the biggest dragons left alive, things will only go wrong for Criston Cole and my younger brother," Aemond said.

"We are to bring Daeron back alive, remember. We are no kinslayers," Visenya said as she pointed a finger at him. Aemond nodded.

"Of course, but Cole... I know you want him for yourself," Aemond said. Visenya smiled.

"All the years that he treated me and my brothers unfairly just because he was upset my mother refused to give up her title as heir to the throne for him... it is pathetic," Visenya spat. Aemond chuckled as he nodded.

"When we were children, I never understood why he treated you and your brothers much harsher than Aegon and me, but knowing it was because he wanted Rhaenyra and she rejected him... it makes him even more pathetic," Aemond said. Visenya smiled as she leaned up and kissed him.

"I don't think I would have been able to get through this without you by my side," Visenya said. Aemond laid his hand down on her cheek and gently stroked her face with his thumb.

"I feel the same," Aemond said as he leaned down until their foreheads were touching. Visenya smiled as their lips found one another's again and the two took advantage of the small window of alone time that they had. They were still newlyweds but hadn't gotten a lot of time to really enjoy each other.

Aemond planned to make up for all of that once the war was over.

"Come, the sooner we set out, the sooner we can end this all."

When Visenya and Aemond took their leave, Rhaenyra took it upon herself to visit with her newly pardoned brother. She found him outside of his old chambers. He hadn't gone inside, but he was sitting by the windowsill. Rhaenyra cleared her throat when she approached an Aegon quickly stood up and bowed.

"Your Grace," He said. Rhaenyra shook her head as she motioned for him to sit down again, and she joined him by the window.

"How are you adjusting?" She asked.
