𝑖 𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛

Chapter 17

"Ugh. I smell something burning.. Let me sleep a little longer. But it reallyy does smell like something burning... A FIRE!" Tanjiro thought somehow still using his inhanced sense of smelll unconcious. He then smacked his eyes open and got up. He saw Giyuu, there sitting while Shinobu snuggled against him. He was also making a fire out of the broken floorboards. They were wood so all he needed is to make friction between until it started a fire. 

"What happened?! Are you okay??!" Tanjiro asked. 

"Are your wounds alright? Shinobu treated yours earlier as they were in a much more serious condition then mine." He asked.

"Ye im alright! It just left a bruise but im alright!" Tanjiro thought. 

"Since when were the water and insect pillar so close? Since when were they on a first name basis? Giyuu practically has his face against hers. Kocho has her whole head on his shoulder as she is treating his wound. What is happening???" 

He looked at his surroundings to see if he could spot Inosuke. But he was no where to be spotted. 

"Inosuke left. He didn't suffer as many injuries so he just took off on his own. Tanjiro, Shinobu. I think you know, but this fight is just beginning. Our final target is Muzan. But next we may have to fight Upper Rank 1." Giyuu was serious about his statement, he had received a blessing. A second chance. And now he needs to use it wisely. And so he stood up and picked up his katana. Just then a crow flew by them and said they were getting closer to Muzan. 

"Well. Lets get going now. This is just the beginning."

A triumph yell came from a hashira with pink hair that faded into a light shade of neon lime. 

'I found her!! Iguro! Over there! Mitsuri yelled, pointing down at the floor below them. There was a demon, who had one eye holding a 4 stringed biwa. As they looked closer, in her eye engraved the number 4. It was upper rank 4. They were surprised, they thought Tokito and the others defeated the Upper Moon 4. 

"CAW, CAW, CAW. UPPER RANK 3 HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY GIYUU, TANJIRO AND INOSUKE! CAW CAW"

"Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Muichiro and Shinobu are all younger than me. And they are risking their lifes to do their best! So i too have to do my best!" She thought as she did a front tumble in the air and was about to aim down at the demon. However that was embarrassing as her katana missed. She flushed in embarrassment as Iguro, the snake hashira looked at her doing a move with no thought whatsoever. The falling hashira soon switched back after getting flustered at her embarrassing move. 

"Kanroji.. As long as we don't know our opponents abilites, lets watch closely, think hard and proceed calmly."

She replied with a soft okay, and even though Obanai had his face turned the other way he could see that Mitsuri was as red as a tomato. Then the ground started to shake, like an earthquake. But this earthquake doesn't make the floorboards collide with each other or break down. These floorboards change gravity. They were falling, but there hashiras they figured out the magic to this soon..

"KYAHHHHHHHHHH. IGURO! WAHHHHH! ITS GONNA CRUSH ME!! UMMMFF!!" Mitsuri personality doesn't even change, it didn't even bother with the fact that the demon could attack at any second. So she swung her katana as if she was having a cat fight and she quickly landed back on her feet. 

"I get it. She can move the building as if it were her own hands and feet. Thats a little surprising, but okay! Hmph!" 

"PREPARE YOURSELF!! YOU WON'T HIT ME WITH THE SAME ATTACK AGAIN!! She yelled, she swung her katana and aimed it at the demon. But as soon as she did, she got teleported into another place. It was like a window, if you fall out of it its an abyss of floorboards below. 

"Serpent breathing.. Second Form: Venom Fangs of the narrow head!" Nakime, the demon did the same trick again. Right as his katana was about to hit her, he got teleported into a different place. Like Mitsuri he began falling. 

"Her blood demon art isn't that deadly. But its really annoying!! This could be a long and troublesome fight!" He thought. Meanwhile Mitsuri was holding on for dear life with one hand ranting on how it was so humiliating doing a front flip in front of iguro.

"Kibutsuji's nearby! Don't let your guard down!" Gyomei and Muichiro were following the crows direction. Gyomei was a bit ahead of the mist hashira, he turned back to check on him but his prescence was gone. He was being swept away with some kind of force. Just then Gyomei heard familiar voices. It was of Kanao Tsuyuri, Tanjiro Kamado, Shinobu Kocho and Giyuu Tomioka. 

"I hope my plan goes well." Tomioka thought. 

Flashback - after the hashira meeting

"Master. I know what im about to say is absurd but i do wish you would listen and believe to what im saying. Im not your Giyuu Tomioka. No... just not form this current timeline."

"I see. I will change my plans. I will tell Kiriya that. Thank you so much."

"Thank you master." He replied before standing up. He was about to leave but he turned back around as Ubuyashiki said something. 

"Giyuu Tomioka. You are the water hashira, now you are 21 years old. What you just told me, i did find helpful and informative of course, but.. Let me know more about your relationship with Shinobu Kocho... I would have loved to see you guys become a thing. But since you know my death in the near future, i shall congratulate you two early on your relationship as a couple. However.. any more future planning for family..?"  He chuckled at the end as he saw the ears of the water hashira turn red, which then slowly spread throughout his eyes face. 

"Master.. I do indeed love Shinobu. I shall hope that my plan will thrive. Thank you for being here with me. I wish you a peaceful rest."
