No requester.

Percy's POV:

I was sitting on my bunk in the Poseidon cabin, being lectured by my girlfriend Annabeth, as usual. I mean, I couldn't really blame her for being mad on this one, but I swear it sounded like a good idea if you didn't say it out loud or think about it. I didn't think it would soak all the campers and the outside of the cabins. I just thought it would be less boring than studying- which, I was right about to be fair. But making the lake dance was probably a really bad way to get rid of boredom and studying.

"And who was right?" Annabeth asked.

I knew the answer she wanted. But it was the answer I didn't want. Because, technically, I wasn't wrong. But still I had to say it because Annabeth was even more not wrong than me.

"You." I relented.

"And why was I right?"

"Because making the lake dance, was indeed, a terrible idea."

Annabeth nodded smugly. She smirked.

"Really, I was right because I have common sense."

"Oh, whatever." I grumbled, running a hand down my face.

Annabeth scoffed, but she was obviously amused more than anything. "I am the fearless, strong, brave- SPIDER!!!"

Annabeth jumped back pointing to a tiny spider on my nightstand. I stood up, Annabeth jumped into my arm as the spider migrated to the floor. I tried to hold back my laughter but a small giggle escaped. Annabeth scowled at me.

"Fearless, huh, wisegirl?" I teased.

"Shut it, seaweed brain." She huffed, still clinging to me.

She dug her nails into my shoulders as the spider advanced. I took a few steps towards the spider. Annabeth made a strangled noise and clung harder. I laughed slightly and stepped on the spider. I gave Annabeth a see? Easy look and she glared, dropping to her feet and dusting herself off, she gave me a we will never speak of this look, and started towards the dining pavilion, gesturing for me to follow her.

I did as she said and we walked to the pavilion, hand in hand, a thick, comfortable, silence falling over us as we looked the sun setting over Thalia's pine. It felt like the first calm, relaxing, night we'd had together sense... Well ever.

I want a night like this for our wedding.
