Will's pov:
I was sitting cross legged on the floor of the Hades cabin, humming as I updated some of the campers medical files. Nico was peacefully sleeping on his bed. I was updating Percy's file when Nico started thrashing. I scrambled to get up as fast as I could. I shook him frantically, Nico's eyes shot open. I pulled him into a hug as silent tears fell from his eyes. Nico pulled back grabbing something from under his bed. He pressed a button and a young girls voice began to speak.
"Hey Nico. I made this tape in case I don't come back, and I know you have trouble sleeping sometimes. If you had nightmare keep listening neeks if not keep listening anyways." The girl said.
"Close your eyes...
I know what you see...
The darkness is high...
And your in ten feet deep..." The girl sang.
Nico hugged the tape to his chest after it finished. I wiped the last of his tears away smiling softly. Nico hummed the lullaby softly, still hugging the tape. I crawled onto the bed next to Nico. I wrapped one arm around him, playing with his hair with other. After a few minutes Nico was calm again, he had put the tape back under the bed moments before. He wrapped his arms around my waist, burying his head in my chest.
"Hey.. was that your sister?" I asked gently.
He nodded into my chest.
"You wanna talk about the nightmare?"
He looked up at me, face flushed with embarressment. I laughed lightly.
"There's nothing to be embarressed about, sunshine." I said grinning.
"Whatever you say tesoro." He mumbled.
