Annabeth pov:

I woke up to the smell of cookie dough and the sound of clanking tupper wear. Percy was already up suggesting that he was the source. I crawled out of bed, grabbing an orange camp half blood t-shirt and shorts to change into. I brushed my hair back into a pony tail. When I entered the kitchen I was greeted with a huge mess.

"I made blue cookies!" Percy said holding out a plate of black, cookie shaped, charcoal.

"Their black." I noted.

Percy blushed, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah..." He mumbled.

I laughed wiping a clump of blue dough off his face.

"Come on. Let's make a new batch."

He nodded excitedly, a gleam in his eyes similar to the one small children get when they have candy. He grinned kissing me on the forehead as he went to retrieve the ingredients from the pantry. I quickly washed the dishes we would need while Percy was gone. He returned carrying a bag of flour, a box of sugar, blue food dye, chocolate chips...etc etc.

We gathered all the dry ingredients in one bull the wet in the other. Together we mixed everything together. Percy scooped a bit of dough onto his thumb, then proceeded to smear it on my nose, chuckling lightly. I smeared dough across his forehead laughing. Percy smirked, grabbing a handful of flour.

"Your on wise girl!" He threw the flour at my head.

I playfully glared at him as flour rained down on me. Percy snickered. His amusement stopped short when I dumped flour on his head. He pouted, trying to shake the flour out of his now grey hair. I giggled involuntarily at his discomfort.

"Your so mean wise girl." Percy pouted.

"You started it seaweed brain." I said trying not to laugh at how pathetic he looked. "Come on, let's get these cookies baking."

After the cookies were in the oven and we had started the timer, Percy threw himself at the couch, grabbing the remote before I could get it. I groaned as loudly as possible when he put on finding Nemo. Percy stuck his tongue out at me. I flicked his ear, pouting. He laughed, going back to his movie. There timer went off a bit later. We ran to the kitchen, laughing as we held hands.

I put on oven mits and pulled the cookies out of the oven, setting them on the stove. I turned back to Percy who was humming just keep swimming as he poured to glasses of milk. I smiled softly wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my chin on his shoulder. He turned kissing my forehead.

"Love you." He whispered.

"Right back at ya seaweed brain."
