Harry has always had his life planned out. From a young age the man knew he wanted to be involved in music which is why he constantly strived to be the best out there in order to gain a scholarship to the number one music university out there. He knew once he graduated college he would settle down with a wife before having between two and three kids. No more, no less. What he didn't know, however, was that his music career was going to flourish right when his wife would become sick. He also didn't know she was going to die only thirteen months after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Since then Harry has split his life down the middle between focusing on music and focusing on his kids. Nothing else. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that Harry puts his kids in front of everything, however, since the two boys are now older it seems he has more time to be putting thought into producing music.
However, recently Harry has been noticing a drift in his boys' attitudes not only towards himself but to each other as well. Which is why he has decided to enforce a bit of family bonding. All planned out of course.
"Liam, I don't care if you got invited over to Andy's house. I planned this vacation two weeks ago and we're leaving now if we want to stay on schedule. Niall, please use the restroom so we don't have to make extra stops on the way," Harry says as he closes the trunk.
"Dad I don't want to go on this trip! I never did! You're the one that came home from work one day and was just randomly like "oh we're going on a trip in two weeks!" I. Don't. Want. To. Go! Plus this isn't even family bonding, you have a work party at the lake too!" Liam said in an annoyed manner while following his father back inside the house.
"The work party is one night and you don't even have to attend it. You agreed to going, so now it's final. End of story. Go grab your bags from upstairs before I have to ground you once we get back from the vacation," Harry says with a lifted brow. At that Liam huffs but nonetheless walks off to his room to grab his duffle bag of clothes.
"I'm excited for the lake, dad," Niall says in a cheery manner upon seeing Liam walk away.
"Well I'm glad one of my babies is excited about this! And since you are, why don't you go sit in the front seat of the car for the road trip down there?" And when Harry says that, the little blonde boy's eyes light up before he's running out of the house and into the already turned on car.
A few minutes later and a slightly less annoyed looking Liam is once again walking down the stairs with his bag in tote. He gives Harry a faint glare but overall says nothing and makes his way out to the car.
"Styles family bonding has begun!" Harry shouts as he enters the car.
