The weekends finishes much better than how it started. When Sunday came around, the two families once again met up - this time at the park - where Liam amused Niall by playing a small one-on-one game. It was obvious the older boy was going easy on his younger brother, however, that didn't mean he let him win. He did, though, when Niall brought Zayn out onto the field and began to teach him how to kick the ball around. It was a truly cute sight that neither Louis nor Harry could pass up on taking a photo of which is why each man is pretty sure there's a good twenty photos and ten videos of it.

When Monday came around, though, Harry immediately noticed Liam's change in mood. Over the past two days he had managed to get Liam to smile and let loose again, but the thought of going back to school was enough to ruin all of Harry's work. On one hand the older man wanted to let his son stay home and hide him away from all the rude people of his grade, but on the other he knew it wasn't the mature decision which is exactly why he found himself dropping his son off with a frown that morning.

"After school I'm gonna get Niall first, and then I'm gonna come straight here for your game. Do you want me to get you any snacks for before hand? Maybe a Gatorade?" Harry asks as Liam begins to get out of the car.

"Can you get the blue Gatorade gummies?" Liam asks as he swings his backpack on.

"You got it," Harry says with a smile. "I love you, Bear. Have a good day."

And with that Liam nods as he makes his way into the school with his head down. Slowly the boy made his way through the halls until he got to his locker where he quickly got out the books he'd need for his first two classes. As the boy stood at his locker he couldn't help but feel as though everyone was either staring at him or talking about him which in turn only caused him to speed up the process more. Without even looking around to see if his suspicions were right, Liam rushed off from the scene and straight into Louis' classroom where the man seems to be preparing for his first class already.

"Morning, Liam," Louis says with a smile.

"Morning, Lou- I mean Mr. Tomlinson," Liam says.

"I'm sorry I always have to make you switch, but I need to remain professional in the workplace," Louis says with a frown, though, Liam just shakes it off. "So today's your first game, yeah?"

"Yeah, it's suppose to be a good game."

"Any chance you'll start?"

"Maybe? I don't know my coach brought it up once, but he hasn't mentioned it since then. He said he's telling us the line up during lunch."

"Well that's great," Louis says with a smile. "I was thinking of staying for a bit of the game, but it all depends on how Zayn's feeling at the end of the day."

"He's sick?" Liam asks in confusion because just the day before he was fine.

"No, no, he was just fussy this morning. Almost had to call my mum to take care of him for the day," Louis explains, and again Liam nods.

Before the younger boy could answer, the bell was ringing and slowly students began to make their way into the classroom. As more and more people entered the room, Louis noticed all of them glancing over to Liam a bit, however, the boy just remained with his head down as he listened to a bit of music. Louis felt a bit sympathetic for the boy seeing as though he witnessed everything Friday, however, he wasn't about to bring that up and embarrass Liam more.

So Louis simply took roll before reading out a few announcements for the class which included mentioning the varsity football team's first game of the season that afternoon. Other than that, though, Louis just allowed the students to do as they pleased until the bell rung for them to go on with their classes.
