Louis was stood at the front of the classroom writing his name along the white board. He managed to get Zayn fed and dropped off at his classroom with little struggle, and at this point he's just hoping it stays that way. Once Louis finished writing his name on the board he went back to his desk where he had his seating chart laid out so each student could figure out where they're seated as they entered, and just as he felt someone approach him he was met by a slightly familiar voice.

"Louis?" Liam says shyly as he approaches the man's desk.

"Looks like you lucked out by getting me as your homeroom teacher, yeah?" Louis joked immediately which Liam laughed at. "However, I think in school you're gonna have to stick to calling me Mr. Tomlinson."

"Oh, right, sorry. Um, where do you want me to sit?" Liam asks awkwardly while rubbing the back of his neck. Louis skimmed his list for a moment before finding Liam's name.

"Second row, first seat by the window, please." And with that Liam went over to his desk.

Time went on and more and more students entered the room while Louis told them all where to sit. He noticed Liam slightly talking to the boy next to him and couldn't help but wonder if he had any friends in this homeroom. However, before he could think about it anymore the bell was ringing signalling for Louis to turn on the TV which broadcasted the morning announcements.

"Good morning students, welcome to your first day of high school! As you can see on the board I am Mr. Tomlinson. For those of you who are taking art, get used to the name because I will be your teacher, and some of you may even be blessed enough to get me as your English teacher as well," Louis spoke as he walked to the front of the classroom.

From there he went on to give the rest of the boring, morning rituals of welcoming the students to class and making them do random icebreakers before sending them off to visit their other classes.

As the day went on Louis would learn that he did in fact have Liam in his English class as well as would soon have him in his art class at the end of the day. However, before he could even think of that class he had someone more important to think of.

"Hi, Zee! How was your first day, bubba?" Louis cooed as he crouched down, eye level to Zayn.

"Dada!" Zayn squealed while wrapping his arms around Louis' neck, and that was enough of an answer Louis needed to know Zayn didn't feel so miserable.

"There's not many kids his age in our class at the moment, so he stuck around me majority of the day. But I did get him to interact with me a bit, so that's a plus," the teacher said with a smile and Louis couldn't help but beam at that.

"Good job, baby. You make dada so happy," Louis once again cooed while kissing Zayn's cheek before lifting him up onto his hip and bidding his goodbyes to the teacher.

From there Louis made his way back over to his own classroom where not even a minute later his newest students began to enter one-by-one, Liam flowing in at one point or another.

"Hello familiar and unfamiliar faces!" Louis started as he walked at the front of the room with Zayn on his hip. "For those of you who know me, you're welcome. For those who are unfamiliar with me, I'm Mr. Tomlinson and once again...you're welcome."

The class laughs a bit at Louis' commentary which in turn only causes Zayn to giggle a bit as well.

"And this little bundle of joy is my son, Zayn. He's in the daycare program at the preparatory, however, their day ends before ours so he will more likely than not be here every class at the end of the day."

As Zayn once again became shy, the class couldn't help but coo which in turn only made Zayn whimper a bit. It took Louis a minute to calm the boy down before placing him on his chair and turning back to the class. Louis told them a bit more about himself and had them fill out a personal questionnaire and before he knew it the bell was ringing signalling the day was over.
