New Girl on board (Boimler x Female reader)

(l/n) pov:

As we saw the Vancouver go into warp with a beautiful blue colour, I remember what Brinson said to me before she left with the parasite.

"I know this might sound inappropriate to say and accuse, I can tell you care to death about Brad. I admit he speaks highly of you. If there is anyone who deserves his heart; it is, you. Take loving care about him and give him your entire heart."

I smiled at the thought before we started walking again, Boimler walked to my right while Mariner walked in the front chatting nonstop to us acting like we were listening; Boimler kept looking at me. "What are you smiling about?" I looked away and giggled. "No reason." I poked his cheek and kept walking. He smiled and we walked to the bunks. "I say we all cuddle in a bunk; we all had a rough day." Mariner jumped onto my bunk and pulled me with her. I sat up and leaned against my bunk wall before Boimler sat in the bunk too. "Your very clingy Mariner." I played with her hair as she rested her head on my lap, and Boimler joined the huddle and rested his head on my shoulder. "I think this was the most interesting day." Mariner looked up at both of us and Boimler nodded. "Agreed." 

Boimler pov:

As I rested my head on (l/n) shoulder, her breathing started to go slowly. She fell asleep. Mariner realized and sat up and quietly got off her bunk. "Are you coming Boimler?" I looked at her. "In a moment." I pushed (l/n) further into the bunk and held her close to me cuddling her. She looked so peaceful sleeping, just like the time during our first mission together. I yawned and placed her fully into her bunk, bringing her blanket over her; and tucking her hair behind her ear. I crawled into my bunk thinking nonstop about her, the way she looked, spoke, smiled, laughed, and her all and all personality. I sighed and looked up at the dent in my bunk and mumbled "How do I tell her Denty?" I looked away and fell asleep. 

I woke up to Mariner joking with Tendi, sometimes I wish I did not share a bunk with her and got my own quarters. I got up to see that (L/n) was not in her bunk, I heard footsteps behind me to studently get my shoulder tapped. "Are you looking for (l/n)?" I looked over to see Mariner who had a smile on her face. "Yeah, how did you know?" She smiles and starts to wander off before Tendi and Rutherford hugged both of my arms. Rutherford butted in "Dude, we know you like her!" I looked at Rutherford and blushed before speaking. "No, I do not. What makes you say that?" Rutherford laughs. "My implant can tell people's heart rate." 

Tendi pushed and cut in. "Rutherford told me, so I checked the difference, your heart rate is 60 to 100 beats per minute when you're not with her, but when you're with her your heartbeat jumps really high!" I blushed and sighed before Mariner walked in front of me. "And we're going to see if she likes your back." I looked at her before replying. "You do realize I just went through a breakup right and what makes you think she likes me back?" She giggled and patted my shoulder. "I may or may not know." I look at Mariner and wonder what she meant. "Speaking of the devil." I look up and see (L/n) walk towards us. 

She smiles at the Mariners' comment. "Nice to see you too Mariner. What is the plan for today?" Mariner smirks at Tendi and Rutherford before replying. "Tendi, Rutherford and I, need to do storage cleanup and other bottom of the barrel work. So, you and Boimler will just be hanging out. Have fun!" They all walked away and giggled, before (L/n) spoke and made me look at her. "Since it's just the two of us, what do you feel like doing?" I thought. "Why don't we go to the bar, it's a great place to hang out." She smiled at my reply. "Sure, I could use a drink." I smiled and started walking with her to the bar. 

As we walked into the bar we sat down and smiled. I cannot stop but look deep into her (e/c) eyes, I was staring at her for too long because she moved next to me in the booth without me realizing. "You ok Boimler, I think you got a staring problem." I smiled at her comment before replying. "You think?" She smiled and played with my hair. "I think you do." I smiled at her and opened my mouth before being interrupted by Flecther. "Hey guys." I looked up at him as he sat across from me and (L/n). He seems to notice (L/n), and smiles. "Thats a face I haven't seen before." She giggles at his comment and sighs before replying. "I'm (F/n) (L/n), I recently joined the Cerritos." He smiles at her and crosses his arms thinking. "(L/n)... (L/n).. I have heard of that last name in a textbook before, you from the small town in (C/n)?" She smiled and nodded causing Flecther to give a shocked face. (L/n) looks down and sighs before I could say anything Fletcher's combadge went off.
