(l/n) pov:

I walked out of the sonic shower with my uniform shirt undone to see Mariner taunting Boimler as usual while he was getting ready. "Yo (l/n) did you now that Boimler as a "girlfriend" I think its Justs a holodeck program or just a projector and when I put my hand to her, it goes through her." Boimler sighed and picked up a teddy bear and flowers. "Shes real Mariner." I put my stuff down and cleaned up my shelf. I didn't know Boimler had a girlfriend, but it kind of hurt a bit. I put my shirt fully on and looked over at the two. "(l/n) want to go see me get my hand through a hologram?" I smiled weakly and nodded. "Sure." We walked down the hall Boimler worried and nervous, Mariner got ready to stick her hand through a hologram, and I kept my head down. "You ok (l/n), you seem kind of down?" Boimler tilted his head at me with a worried look. "Yeah, I'm just tired, that's all." I can tell he didn't believe it but as soon as we got to the hanger, he ran forward. I looked up see him looking around bouncing a bit to see over stuff. "Boimler are you sure she said she's going to meet you her-" midway through speaking. "Barbra!" He ran towards a girl with blond hair, in a medical uniform, and what looked like to have the Lieutenant rank. "Um computer reset program." I laughed that those are the first she said.

Mariner looked at the two lovebirds and I sighed before walking over with Mariner. "Barbra these are my two co-workers (l/n) and Mariner" I waved and so did Mariner. "Nice to meet you both, do you guys want a tour of the Vancouver?" I nod in response "Sure, why not." I jab mariner in the side with my elbow as we head on the shuttle craft to the Vancouver. On the way to the Vancouver Barbra and Boimler cuddle and giggle, Mariner thinks, and I look down not wanting to see the love birds. "So (l/n), Boimler told me you're the new girl on the Cerritos. How do you think it so far?" I looked up and sighed. "I love it personally, the moment I met Boimler and Mariner I knew this ship would be exciting. I don't think I could be stuck on a better ship than the Cerritos." Boimler and Mariner smiled. "Aww am I just that awesome?" Boimler rolled his eyes at Mariner's comment and giggled. "We're happy to have you on the Cerritos." I smiled at Boimler and felt the shuttle land. "Looks like were here!" We stepped off the shuttle onto a much fancier ship than the Cerritos.

Boimler pov:

We walked down the halls of the Vancouver with Barbra latched onto my arm as we walked. "So, wow an ensign and a lieutenant working on different ships." I sighed and faced them stopping our little walk. "Ugh I know, I promised myself I wouldn't do long distance. But the moment I laid my eyes on him, I had to." Mariner looked a Barbra. "But Boimler of all peop-." (l/n) jabbed her with her elbow. "I think they look adorable, don't you Mariner." she gave a stern eye. "Yes, yes I do." I smiled before I heard (l/n) voice. "You have to follow your heart when it comes to long distance relationships." Barbra smiled and hugged her. "Can I keep her? I need this positive attuited with my crew." Mariner hugged her too. "Sorry she nots for sale right now, she emotional support." (l/n) giggled and hugged both of them with a smile. "I'm flattered." Mariner gave the side eye to Barbra before we started walking again. Barbra started talking about her time on the Vancouver before spotting a Cerritos crew member. "Jets that you?" She ran towards him and tackled him. "Nice to see you, Barbra." I watched her and Manhaver talk with each other before they hugged and twirled her in the air. "Oh, Jet this is my boyfriend; Brad Boimler."

(l/n) pov:

I watched Brinson get twirled in the air by Manhaver before she introduced Boimler as her boyfriend. She should have done that from the start. He waves to Manhaver with a weak smile, I can tell he's uncomfortable by the whole situation. I pat his back and he give me a weak smile. "I got to head to engerineering they want all the Cerritos engerineering crew for a chat; see you around." he waved before walking down the hall. "So, how did you and Manhaver meet?" Mariner rested her head on mind while looking at her. "Oh, we used to date a long time ago." I looked over at Boimler who frowned a bit more. "But were just friends now, so don't worry Bradward; anyway, I got to head to engerineering as well." Boimler and her share a goodbye kiss before she walks off, as soon as she was away from listening range Mariner cut in. "Your real name is Bradward?!?!?!?" Boimler sighed. "Yup, anyway I'm going to head back to Cerritos. You two coming along?" Boimler looked at us with a weak smile. "Of course." I started walking with him, rubbing his back. Mariner followed while mumbling something beneath her breath.
