As the days go one Barnaby was getting more comfortable at his new school. Him and Julie were now friends and always talk to each others when they have the chance. Barnaby also talks to Wally as well he liked being close with Wally even if he only know him for a few days.
As Barnaby was at his locker Poppy tapped on his s shoulder.
"Mh, oh hey Poppy." Barnaby said looking over his shoulder.
"Hi Barnaby there's something I wanted to talk about." Poppy said.
"Oh, ok what is it?" Barnaby asked closing his locker door.
"Ok. So there's this rumor going around about you and Wally." Poppy said. Barnaby felt himself getting a little nervous.
"A rumor...?" Barnaby asked.
Poppy nodded. "Yeah b-but it's a good one...I think." She said.
"Oh,...then what is it?" Barnaby asked."
"See...the rumor is that you and Wally are...more than friends." Poppy said.
Barnaby's heart skipped a beat heading those words. 'More than friends' what do they mean? Barnaby never thought about dating someone even with a guy.
For the rest of the day the rumors about him and Wally filled his minds he didn't know how deal with this feeling in his heart he never fell in love with somebody before. As Barnaby walked out of his last class he accidentally bumped into Mr.McCloud.
"Oh, Barnaby sorry." Mr. McCloud said
"n-No no, it's fine." Barnaby said. Then a memory came back to Barnaby's mind. He remembers that Mr. McCloud would help him if anything happened.
"a-Actually Mr. McCloud there something I wanted to talk about..." Barnaby said.
"Alright what is it?" Mr. McCloud asked Barnaby took Mr. McCloud's hand and lead him somewhere more private.
"I'm guessing this is important?" Mr. McCloud asked folding his arms.
"It is..." Barnaby said. Barnaby took a deep breath a spoke. "There's this rumor going around about me and Wally..." Barnaby said.
"A rumor? Is it a bad one?" Mr. McCloud asked.
"y-Yes...no? I don't know really." Barnaby said. "b-But people are saying that...me and him are more than friends..." Barnaby said blushing just by saying those words.
"So there's a rumor going around saying that you and Wally Darling are a couple?" Mr. McCloud asked.
"y-Yes but...it made me realize something." Barnaby said.
"And what's is that?" Mr. McCloud asked.
"I...never really thought about having feelings for anyone...even for a guy and I really don't know how to handle it..." Barnaby said.
"I see...well I can't really help you on this Barnaby but I will say this. It's ok if you have feelings for a person who has the same gender as you." Mr. McCloud said.
"y-Yes yes I know but...I think I do have feelings for him..." Barnaby said he was finally facing the music he listened to his heart and his mind there was no denying it.
Barnaby B. Beagle have fallen in love with Wally Darling.
