chapter 6

Shyla's P.O.V.

I didn't know what to make of it. It felt so real. I felt everything, the running, the sadness, the pain. I couldn't get it out of my head.

 I pulled up in the school parking lot as Hannah rambled on about some new kids from England. I wasn't even paying attention to a word she was saying. All I could think about wash dream. I was so deep in thought that I didn't even realising that I was about to run into someone until Hannah screamed "SHYLA"

 I snapped out if my thought and slapped on the breaks. "What the fuck was that" she practically yelled. I just stared in front of me breathing hard.

 "Shyla" she said waving a hand in front of my face "are you ok do you need help"

I shook my head getting out of my thoughts "um no, I'm fine sorry " I said driving into a parking spot. "Are you sure you seem zoned out "

 "I'm fine ok"

"Were you even listening to me about the new kids" she asked unbuckling.

 "Yeah" i lied.

"Ok what did i say about them" she said crossing her arms.

 "Um ... Ok fine i wasn't listening I'm sorry" I said.

"Are you sure your ok. It's not like you to not listen to a conversation" she asked with concern in her voice.

 " I'm fine i promise lets just go in before we are late"

 "Ok" she said getting out. I follow her actions getting out and grabbing my bag from the back of the truck. We walk through the parking lot being joined by Kaylee.

 "Hey" Kaylee said.

 "Hey" Hannah and i said in unison.

 "Did you guys hear about the new kids" she said.

"I did but Shyla decided to ignore me when I was telling her about it" Hannah said.

 "Sorry I was focused on driving" I lied.

 "Yeah that's why you almost ran someone over" Hannah said crossing her arms.

"Yeah" I said sarcastically.

"Wow wait Shyla not listening to a conversation AND almost running someone over either shyla is having a bad day or an alien has taken over her body and is set out to destroy the world" kaylee said in her usual way.

 I rolled my eyes "I'm just having a bad day trust me no alien would ever try and take this body over 1 cause I have no power in this world and 2 listen to number 1"

 "True" Hannah said.We continued walking i caught a glimpse if Ashton. He looks my way and smiles and waves. I smile and wave back.

 As we got onto the side walk a motor bike pasted by nearly running my foot over. I stumbled grabbing Hannah and kaylees shoulders for support. They helped steady me as the motor bike was turned off and parked. I gained my balance and looked back at the bike. The person on the bike took off there helmet revealing his face. He had dark black hair and brown eyes and thick eye brows and other stuff I dont feel like putting into detail. I glared at him a little longer shooting daggers with my eyes. As i looked longer he seemed more and more familiar. He looked at me giving a smirk. I instantly looked away mumbling "jerk"I could hear him chuckle. I rolled my eyes and walked with Hannah and Kaylee.

" well he is definitely an instant jerk" Hannah said sternly .

 "You got that right" kaylee said.

"Yep" I simply said.

 "Who was he anyway "

" well if you listened to what I was saying back in your truck you would know that's one of the new kids" Hannah said.
