"I love it, thank you so much General Hux." You beamed with pride. "I will be sure to serve you and The First Order to the best of my capabilities."

General Hux nodded, "It's an honor to have you aboard, Doctor. Please, do not hesitate to contact me for any need that arises."

"Thank you." You shook his hand and gave a dismissive wave. Another nod and Hux turned on his heels, leaving you alone in your ward. You glanced around at all the silver and black. You smiled wide and breathed in deeply. This was everything you ever wanted in your career.

Not only were you one of the most sought after Veterinarians in the galaxy, but now you were stationed at Starkiller base. Working directly for the First Order was something you thought would remain a dream, but it was now reality. You twirled around one more time, taking in everything that you experienced that day. You glanced at your watch and decided you should head back to your quarters, you had an early first day ahead of you and definitely needed the rest.

Conveniently, your quarters were just adjacent to your work ward. You started down the corridor when your heart began to pound, stopping you in your tracks. You took a moment and breathed deeply, but your heart continued to flip in your chest and a crushing feeling descended over you. A cold sweat beaded down your face. Shaking your head, you trudged on. You thought to yourself, "Anxiety. It's just anxiety for your first day tomorrow. Nothing more." You had felt this way before, just not in a very long time. You tried to convince yourself it was just anxiety but you had a nagging feeling it was something else.

You reached your quarters and shut the door. No more pounding heart and the heavy feeling lifted, however, that feeling was replaced by another not so savory feeling. You bit your lip as your vulva twitched and your face became flushed.

"Gods, I'm more stressed than I thought. Damn stress arousal." You peeled off your white coat and scrubs. You removed your panties and dipped two fingers into your throbbing sex. You were more than just stress aroused. You clicked your tongue, not too sure what to make of it.

"I haven't had much contact with anyone in awhile, I'm pent up, that's all." You convinced yourself, heading to shower and ignoring the blanket of aroused energy you had over you. Thankfully, the rest of the night was uneventful and you found sleep in spite of your throbbing clit.

The next morning you awoke and headed off to your ward. You went to grab your access card to open the door but found it was already open. General Hux was standing in the middle of your ward, holding a small charhound.

"Good morning, Doctor."

You nodded, "Good morning, General. And good morning to you, sweet baby." You motioned to the charhound in his hands. "Who is this?"

"This is Riley." Hux smiled and handed you the wiggling animal. You eagerly took the pediatric charhound and giggled as it landed hot licks on your face.

Hux laughed, "Wow, he sure likes you." You handed Riley back over to Hux. "Of course he does, all animals do. Now, what can I do for you both?" You went to rub off the saliva stain from your face but before you did, Hux's handkerchief was already wiping it away. Your eyes widened from the unexpected gesture.

Hux pulled his hand back and cleared his throat. "So sorry, Doctor, but I can not have my direct reports looking unkempt." He shifted his weight on his feet. "Riley is ready for his first exam. Do you have time for that this morning?" His blue eyes stared right through you.

You swallowed and blushed. "I definitely have time for you, General, my first appointment isn't scheduled until noon. Now, put Riley on the exam table for me."

Riley's exam was unremarkable and soon enough you set him on the floor. He happily ran around the ward while you escorted Hux to your office to chat about next steps of care for Riley. Hux listened intently as you detailed Riley's plan of care, more intently than most owners did. He was also very friendly. Which you had heard through the grapevine was not the norm for him. You chalked it up to him respecting you, afterall, he was the one who hired you.
