As I stand on the gentle cliff staring out at the beautiful oasis, All I can see is a beautiful painted sky, full of wondrous colors dispersing from the ever setting sun. The darker orange setting into a softer more welcoming shade slowly turns into a peaceful shade of blue and slowly works into the setting night sky. Blockades of clouds loosely spread out, adding a peaceful break in the colors. The crisp wind sends a soothing feeling across my body, adding a sense of peace to this ending day. Below, the waves are crashing against the hillside as if they were trying to reach me, but they come up short each time, barely getting halfway up the cliffside. The smell of grass and saltwater encases my nose as I take a deep breath, and for the first time ever, I feel as though I can actually get a full breath into my lungs. The only noises around me are of the crashing waves, and the faint sounds of Toothless gently snoring behind me.

The peace however, fades quickly as I see a ship emerge from the horizon. A sense of fear and anger swell into my brain. Just as quickly, more ships emerge and suddenly there are over 26 ships in the sea before me. I see the sigil on the flags and quickly identify them as Ones from Drago Bludvists fleet. "This man needs to get a hobby" I think to myself.

Ever since Drago heard whispers of the "Dragon Master" he has been out to kill me and reign over the dragons in his vile ways. Once we met, two years ago, his hatred for me was solidified. To him, I am the only thing in between him and complete control, and within the next few hours, his ships will dock and a full fleet of vikings will be coming at me, prepared to kill me.

*Flashback*

It was a cold dreary day, the sky was a bleak, overwhelming gray and the water was a dark fearful blue, with waves crashing in a new direction constantly, because of the terrible wind. The wind was angry that day, gusting and whipping around as if it was sending a warning.

I always heed the warnings of nature, because nature can not lie. I have always been friends with nature, It is one of the closest bonds I hold to this day.

I was in a small town, that is on no maps, known for its black market. The town was known for being inhabited with dragon trappers, therefore Toothless was hiding in the woods, within yelling distance incase of danger. The trip would not take very long so I was not worried about him.

I was looking for a pair of winter boots, because the ones I had, grew multiple holes, and were well loved. Last winter, I would step into the cold snow, and bits of snow would fall into my boots through the holes. I almost caught frostbite that winter, and after almost losing all of my toes, I vowed that for next winter "I would get new boots".

After weeks of searching, I finally found a pair of boots that satisfied all of my needs. They were brown leather, with goat fur lining for warmth, and metal, shaped on the edges for added protection. They had long brown laces, which added for extra comfort in the sizing. The merchant drove a hard bargain but the boots were perfect. Iwas about to pay when an arrow whipped past my head, landing in the wooden beam holding up the roof of the merchant's cart.

I flipped around to my left, luckily moving out of the way of the next arrow just in time. Unfortunately however, the arrow meant for me, sunk into the chest of the merchant about to sell me the boots, I pulled my long sword out of the sheath and quickly used it to deflect the next two arrows flying at me. Without thinking, I charged the attacker, expertly dodging the next two arrows before jumping at them with my sword.

With one swing, I knocked the bow out of their hands and before It could even hit the floor, I threw out my fist, hitting the attacker right in their lower jaw on the right side. They stumbled backwards because of the forced momentum but quickly regained their balance. My attacker raised their fists to block their face, while readying to fight me. Before they got the chance to throw a punch however, I dropped low to the ground, and swept my foot under their legs, causing the attacker to fall to the ground. Quickly, I jumped on top of them, forcing my arm into their neck and my knee across their legs, so that the attacker could not move.
