"One hundred and two" that is how many men and women were on the shore, I counted twice

They all were armed at the hip, most wearing some type of dragon skin armor. No sight of Drago however.

I turned around to look at the toothless, who had a worried expression on his face. "Don't worry bud, we got this" I said to him in a soothing tone. I couldn't let them attack first, Doing so would put me at a disadvantage, so I readied my plan.

I was easily outnumbered, so taking them all head on wasn't a good option, however I wasn't against it. I am a great fighter, not to gloat but I trained myself. I have never met an opponent that I could not beat, however there was one hundred and two of them and while I am skilled, I am not suicidal.

I decided that my best option was to attack from my place above them, I was on the cliffside, and they were on the shoreline below. If Toothless fired at them while I used my bow, we could easily take them down before they got the chance to charge us.

Pulling myself onto the saddle, I thought to myself "Maybe he wouldn't be so angry if I hadn't cut off his arm" but I quickly pushed the thought aside. I mean why do I feel so bad for hurting the man who was trying to kill me and steal my dragon? Because if he wanted to kill me, he wouldn't have taken me through the woods, he would have just killed me and taken toothless.

As I look over the cliffside, I pet Toothless's head as a way to ask if he's ready. He answers my pet with a coo, and I know we're ready.

I pull my mask over my face and ready myself for the battle.

We jump off the cliffside, gliding down to a level where Toothless can easily and accurately shoot the army, but not get hit by any arrows. Toothless shoots his first blast, and I ready my bow. The blast hits directly in the middle of a ship, and quickly it sinks. I start shooting at the people with my bow, not missing a single target. I only have eighteen arrows, so this won't be a long term solution, but if it helps even a little, I'll take it.

Toothless fires two more blasts each hitting their targets as we fly quickly around in a zigzag pattern so as to not get caught. "We've got this!" I cockily think to myself, too quickly. The next thing I see is a smaller group of men wheeling out a strange contraption that I have never seen before.

It was made out of metal and wood, and was curved as if it was in the shape of a tornado. It had ropes coming out of it on all sides and metal balls on each side. The men aimed at us and shot. We easily dodged the small item that shot out of the contraption, watching it pass overhead quickly. We paid no attention to the new contraption after deciding it was of no concern to us.

The men below however did not seem disappointed in how the machine shot. That is bothersome. I looked around trying to see what it did, but there was nothing. Suddenly they shot five more rounds and again we dodged them quickly. Again, what was the point?

Toothless continued to shoot blasts at them while flying us around, while I observed the new machine.

We flew overhead of where the sunken boats were, and suddenly a man screamed, "Now!" and just as quickly, six chains were flying at us from all different directions. There was nowhere to turn to while the chains rained down over Toothless and I. Tricky Bastards.

The chains pulled us down to the ground too quickly for Toothless to regain his balance before we hit the ground. We smacked into the ground, causing a dragon sized crater in the dirt. The chains wrapped around us as if trying to pull us to the center of the world. One chain was across my chest while the other five were spread out around my body. Below me, Toothless shot fiery hot plasma at the vikings approaching, as a way to tell them to keep away from us.
