THE SOUND OF THE TRAIN'S TRACKS was loud in their train compartment as Eurydice attempted to fall asleep. After hearing what Medusa had said about her father. She was less worried about her safety and moreso about Percy and the others. She knew that her father wouldn't harm her, but who's to say he wouldn't harm her friends? Now that they were all finally getting alone she didn't want to ruin anything. She dreaded meeting her father, she knew that she had to as soon as they got to the underworld.

But she found herself heavily dreading it. Her entire life she's heard nothing but good things about her father. But now.. she's not sure so what to think of him. He's the god of riches, and the dead. Which... is a lot, if she's being honest. She can't even begin to understand why he's not wanting her dead too. She's allied with the apparent lighting thief, wouldn't that mean she was an accomplice too? At least in his eyes it should mean that. But she knew nothing about her father other than the stories her mother taught her with a bittersweet smile.

Now the stories had a different feeling to them when she realized he was her father. The way her mother had talked about him really did sound like she loved him once. She often talked about Persphone too, and of course she always made sure Eurydice remembered the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. She memorized the sounds of the train tracks outside as a last attempt to fall asleep. She could hear Percy softly snoring in the background. He was always a heavy sleeper, it'd usually take a lot for him to wake up.

Still she couldn't stop thinking about what Medusa had said about her father. He was trying to get her safety returned to him, and not kill her like they've assumed so far? She thought there would at least be a punishment for being on this quest with Percy and the others. But his generals being on the lookout for her specially? To get her to the underworld to him safely? What was he going to get from that?

She rolled over on her side in her makeshift bed in the room. She could never sleep on her back, she always stared up at the blank wall. Where too many thoughts came to her at once, suffocating her. Often when she was younger all her thoughts of mortality and death would often happen when she was trying to sleep and just staring blankly at the wall. Sometimes it was comforting, sometimes it was scary. Now she wasn't sure how to feel about it, she just felt the foreboding feel of anxiousness eating at her. She tried to fall asleep one last time again before she gave you, rolling onto her right side facing the others.
