TODAY was the day the would be filming the wedding scenes. amalie was honestly dreading filming these scenes because she knew that it would make her feel things she shouldn't be feeling. her and jacob in a wedding? yeah her delusions would have a field day with that.
she was currently on set waiting while the crew was doing the last finishing touches to the set. jacob was on her right, talking about how much he missed his dog layla. "i miss her so much. she's like my best friend you know? i wish i could've brought her with me here." jacob says.
"aw, i have a dog at home too! she's really little compared to layla though." amalie responds. "i bet they would be good friends." he says. "i definitely think so!"
their conversation was cut short as they were called to start filming. they get into their places behind the table with the wedding cake, candles and many many flowers.
the scene starts with a close up of amalies face, then pans out to her and jacob. he was smoking just like elvis was in real life. it goes on for a couple more seconds before sofia yells "cut!"
the two go to where sofia was to see how the scene turned out. while watching it, amalie couldn't help but imagine that this was their wedding. i mean this was exactly what she wanted and had been looking for.
her daydream ends when jacob puts his arms around her like a back hug. she suddenly felt frozen in her place. unable to move. not that she wanted to anyway. she gets more comfortable in his arms, leaning more into him.
they both felt like it was only the two of them in the room. obviously, that wasn't the case. lots of eyes were staring at the two of them hugging. wondering whether or not something was happening with the two co stars.
they stay like that until they had to get ready to shoot the next scene.
the two have gotten very close and affectionate to one another. they both know that. it started when one day amalie was hanging out with jacob at his room after filming, and they had been watching interviews and videos of elvis and priscilla for almost two hours. they eventually fell asleep with their arms wrapped around each other.
ever since then, one of them goes to the others room and sleeps with them on their bed. they both found it easier to sleep when the other was with them. it was kind of useless having separate rooms when they just spend all their time together.
when they weren't together, they would still be thinking about the other. this was scaring both of them actually. they were spending so much time together that they didn't know what would happen at the end of filming. something they both did know was that they liked being with each other.
jacob wasn't looking for a serious relationship. he really wasn't. but that was slowly starting to change when amalie came into his life. he's still scared though, there's no doubt about that.
he's still very confused on what he wants. on one hand, he wants to be with amalie as he had grown quite the liking to her and on the other, he didn't wanna be in a serious relationship. it was all very confusing. they had to stop ignoring the elephant in the room and talk about their situation very soon or else.
