They met when they were younger, lived in the same neighborhood until they both moved, both started skateboarding together.
Stiles moved to beacon when he was in 5th grade after his moms death
Ricky moved to salt lake in 6th grade due to his dads job or something random.
Always kept in contact and everything. but occasionally didn't talk. fast forward to high school.
Ricky does end up getting involved with Nini like he did.
Stiles does kinda get involved with someone idk who but nothing serious.
Set sometime in season 2 of HSMTMTS and after season 3B of Teen wolf but events are moved up for timeline purposes so they are both Juniors.
Stiles ends up moving from Beacon after his dad found out about the supernatural and after he was possessed. His dad and Stiles wanting a new start.
But at this point Stiles and Ricky have fallen out of touch since stiles had to get a new number in the middle of sophomore year since his phone got destroyed. Ricky never told anyone about Stiles not even NINI.
So maybe it starts during HSMTMTS season 2 ep 6. and when Ricky was on his way to the school for Saturday practice he was skateboarding when he saw the blue jeep he would never forget. And got a glimpse of who he knows deep down is Stiles.
And then yadda yadda when Miss Jenn asks the question of what beast would ask his future self and he replied if he missed the old days since he is now in his head about stiles. blah blah stuff continues and then Monday he sees stiles in school and then insert a story of the theater kids wondering who this new kid is and then see Ricky and him talking and then insert drama and whatever and idk this is all i got so far...
