"Why didn't you come to school today?" The text read, ji sooheon had sent Hyunjae a text about her whereabouts and her absence. Of course, not wanting him to know about her health condition, she left him on read.

Now, focusing on her headache. She was quick to gulp down her medicine. She had once again forgotten to take her medicine, which had caused her to get headache.

Feeling unwell, she decided to skip school today, making a few people worry about her absence, walking to anywhere. As the cold air from riding the bike will onky make her condition worse,

She thought about everything, her life, her situation, friends, ok chanmi. The latter had come here to know about her brother, chaeyeon knew, to dig the grave, she had to go in very deep.

And that came along with a lot of struggles. Everyone around her, everyone included in that case, and Park woonseok, will have to suffer.

Silencing her phone, because it was filled with texts not only from sooheon but osung, chanmi, soyeon, and ahjung. Was it a crime to have a break? They say when life gives you lemons, make a lemonade, but life has stopped giving lemons.

Life was tasteless for hyunjae, like lemonade without lemons. Watching the body of water, while her body on top of it, supported by bridge. Only one step away from achieving nothingness.

Plaster from all the wounds, bandage to all the injuries, she was only one step away from getting a break. But she stepped back, her mouth left a huge sigh and her eyes let out all the tears.

Shoulders, slumped she sat on the ground, crying her pain out. "Mother, are you happy?"

"You should be."
"I won't blame you for leaving me in pain. There are many others who did this to me. If there was someone who held onto me till the end, it was you. I miss you."

Hyunjae had made her way inside the school. Reaching the classroom, she took in a sigh, ready to be met with a huge interrogation.

Going in, she avoided every eye contact, reaching to her seat. She knew everyone we one was staring at her. There was silence filled in the voices they made first before her entrance.

Chanmi was yelling at sooheon, and she stopped running towards the girl, sooheon did the same. "Hey! I was so worried!"

"Where were you!?"
"Are you crazy? You didn't even text me back!"

Thanks to their homeroom teacher, she didn't have to answer them as they went back to their seats. Silently thanking homeroom teacher, hyunjae tried her best not to show any signs of having a fever.

The day went by quickly, and Hyunjae got to hide her sickness. Now, sooheon and her were at bowling alley, working. Sooheon grabbed a garbage bag, full of garbage, probably going to throw it out. He was met with the police lady.

Hyunjae stood at the back, watching them. If she had the energy, she would go and see what they were talking about and defend sooheon before he said anything stupid, but she couldn't help her light-headedness.

Finding a seat to sit on, she held her head. "Are you okay?" One of her coworkers asked, making hyunjae look up at him, "oh? Yeah. I am okay." She said, giving him a smile shrugging him off.

He continued his work. Hyunjae's eyes then landed on sooheon, who stood frozen watching something or someone. Once hyunjae's eyes followed the direction she was surprised, he looked familiar. He looked like sooheon's doctor. Sighing, she got up and grabbed sooheon's hand, tagging him along with her.

The two made it to the roof. "What? Are you okay?" Sooheon asks, worried for the girl. "You.. work a lot." She tried making a random excuse, which made sooheon's brows furrowed. "I have to." He let's out. Closing her eyes, she once again opened it. Now, I have a closer look at the man.
