Chapter 8

Michelle's POV

Woke up feeling all the positive energy around me, thinking about last night just makes me feel giddy and stuff, but I can't believe that I'll be going home tomorrow night. I can't even imagine how our set up will be.

I went out to buy some groceries so I could make our breakfast. Yes, our breakfast. Anntonia gave me her extra key card so I can go to her room anytime and I did the same.

After I cooked, I tried to make the rice look like a heart to match the eggs to make it presentable, You know...

Anntonia's room

I went in with a tray and a hot choco for her to drink. I saw her sleeping so peacefully. Looking so beautiful even without makeup. I leaned to kiss her forehead and tap her shoulders lightly to wake her up.

"Wake up sleeping beauty" I said as I continued kissing her forehead until I saw her eyes slowly open and smiled at me.

"Good Morning baby" I said while smiling.

"Good Morning" she said as she pulled me for a hug.

"Get up, let's eat our breakfast"

"Let's stay like this for a little longer" she said with her baby voice. She grabbed my nape and buried her face on my neck and my arms automatically encircled her waist. I could feel her warm and steady breathing.

"This is relaxing. Can't believe I won't feel it for a long time." She sighed

"Don't worry babe, I'll fly here everytime you need me"

"Isn't that a hassle to you. I don't want you getting tired, and I don't want to hear from someone that you're sick"

"Okay ma'am, but I'll still fly here for you" I said with my eyebrows arched and a teasing smile. "Enough of that topic and let's eat our breakfast, I put a lot of effort in it you know" I said while arranging the table.

"Really?" She said in a sarcastic way

"Miss Ma'am this is breakfast ala Michelle Dee, this is very rare and only I can do it, but you can have it forever if you'll marry me" I teased her. She chuckled of what I said.

"You know that's cheesy, but I think I'll have your breakfast ala Michelle Dee forever " she winked and we just laughed on what we just said. These kinds of moments just makes me so happy.

After we finished our breakfast, we decided to go to the park before sunset.

We went for a jog to exercise ourselves. We decided to go to the park to have a few rounds of running.

"Wait Dee... I'm getting tired" she complained

"It wasn't even 5 minutes yet" I chuckled

"Let's take a break first"

"What? Come on Ann"

"But I'm tired" she looked at me with her doll eyes while pouting.

"Oh, don't use that cute face on me"

"Let's have a break please 🥺"

"I have an idea" I turned and signalled her to ride on my back.

"What are you doing?"

"Ride on my back so you won't get tired"

"What? Can you handle my weight?"

"I can handle anything babe, come on"

"O-okay" she said while slowly riding on my back. " If I fall I'll hate you for it" she joked and Michelle just laughed.

"This is Captain MMD speaking, please hold on tight"

She said and ran as fast as she can without tripping, she heard Anntonia giggling and sounds like she's having fun.

I just walked when I got tired while Anntonia was still on my back.

"You look like you're having fun their huh?"

"Well I just trusted you" she said and gave me a peck on the cheeks. "Thank you my Captain" she said. "Ohh, you're blushinggg" she teased.

"No, I'm not" I said while she got down from my back.

"Don't deny it, Dee. I already saw it" she chuckled.

"Fine, Fine" I faced her. "I did.. just didn't expect it from you, plus your my girlfriend now...it hits different you know" I said while I held her hips and she held on my shoulders.

"Everything I do with you hits different" she said while wiping my sweat on my forehead, "but...you look so cute when you blushhh" she said while pinching both of my cheeks, and I pulled her for a hug.

"Hey, wanna have some ice cream?" I asked. "Theirs an ice cream truck near the kids playground"

"Suree, but my treat"

"No. It's on me"

"But you did a lot already"

"That was my choice baby. It's on me" I said and I saw her grinned. What could she be probably thinking?

"Whoever goes to the Ice cream truck first will pay okay. Is it a deal?" She said

"Don't challenge m-" she cut me off and run while saying "race yah"

"That's cheating miss ma'am" I shouted so she could hear me. She looked at me smiling and stocked her tounge out and continued running.

I reached the ice cream truck and she was already ordering.

"That wasn't fair" I said poked her ticklish side, that made her giggled.

"Too bad Dee, Too bad" she said while handing me the ice cream that she bought. "Let's sit on the bench near the pond" I nodded and walked towards the bench hand in hand.

We finished our ice cream and Anntonia asked me if I could teach her some Filipino words.

"Okay, try this. Say ANG GANDA MO"

"It sounds complicated, but..okayy. ANG GAN-DA MO?"

"That's righttttt"

"What does it mean?"

"Well, it means that YOU'RE SO BEAUTIFUL"

"Ohhhh..so I'm beautiful?" She said while doing her beautiful eyes.

"Of course. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Well..you and my mom rather"

"You really know how to get me huh?" We laughed. "Teach me more!"

"Okay, say MAHAL KITA"

"MA-HAL K-KITA? was it right?"

"Yes, Yes. That was good"

"Oh, Thanks. But...what does it mean?" She asked eagerly wanting to know what it means.

"It means I LOVE YOU"

"Really?? Then..MA-HAL KITA always Dee" she said and placed her hands around my neck and my hands around her waist"

"Mahal din kita Anntonia" I kissed her forehead and I pulled her for a hug.

"Can't believe that you'll leave me soon"

"I know...I want you to come with me but I know that you will be needed at the hotel. I don't want you have tons of paperworks to do."

"Why do we have to live in different countries...make sure you won't entertain any girls their or I'll kill you"

I laughed "Gosh baby, your scary." I looked at her and cupped her face "and why would I entertain other girls if I already have the perfect woman to be with for the rest of my life. You're precious to me Ann, I'll do anything for you. So don't think of that okayy" I said and pulled her in for another hug.

"I LOVE YOU" she said and buried her face on my neck.

"I LOVE YOU TOO" I kissed the side of her head and moved my hands up and down on her back.

They stayed their watching the beauty of sunset and feeling the warmth of one another. Convinced that they are linked with eachother anywhere they go.
