Chapter 14

After having a long night, laughing, sharing stories, watching movies, and catching up with Abe and Michelle's mom, they gave them their goodbye hugs before they left.....and they are alone...just the two of them again in Michelle's house.

"Well...that went well as I expected" Anntonia said in relief.

"I told you she'll like you, well who won't like you?"

"Such a sweet talker" Anntonia said while fixing the couch.

"It's true though"

"Yah, yah... whatever Ms. Michelle"

Michelle went to the kitchen to find something sweet to eat before they go to bed......and she found a cake her mom brought.

"Hey, babe!"

"Yes?"

"Want some cake?"

"Yes please, but just a little bit" she said while cleaning the living room. She went to the kitchen when she heard nothing from Michelle after that. There she saw Michelle feasting over the cake.

"Hey!" She shouted

"Yes?" Michelle turned her head with a guilty smile.

"That's too much babe, you won't be able to sleep tonight, I'm telling you" she said approaching Michelle.

"But it's good, try it" she said offering to feed Anntonia.

"You're right it's good"

"See. I tol-"

"But it's not an excuse Ms. Dee. It's too much considering that it's already late at night" she said wiping off a chocolate on Michelle's lower lip.

"You're too hot when you get so concerned Ms. Porsild"

"Shut it babe, drink a lot of water and brush your teeth. I'll be upstairs waiting" she said going to the stairs.

"Love you!"

"Love you too! Hurry up"

Michelle did what Anntonia said and tidied the kitchen, making sure every door is locked and wires are unplugged to avoid accidents.

She went upstairs and found Anntonia still on her phone.

"Babe... it's too late for you to use your phone you know" I said scooting by her side.

"Okay, okay...I know" and with that she put her phone aside and hugged as soon as she did.

"I had a great time today. Thank you so much"

"Your always welcome baby" I said while caressing her hair

"And... I'm sorry" she mumbled

My eyebrows raised upon hearing that. "For what?" I was confused

"For this morning's trouble and..." She looked nervous and hesitant but I gave her a look to continue. "Sorry if I can't do the same thing to you as of now"

"What thing?"

"Introducing you to...to my parents. It's just so complicated"

"It's okay babe. I understand. We'll get to do it at some point." I smiled at her. " Do your parents know that you're here?"

"N-no" she looked away. " I haven't reached out to them since I came here "

"You know they'd be worried,right?"

"Yes I know, but I don't want interact with them with this kind of... situation. I want to be alone with you. They'll understand that."

"Okay. I won't force you. I'll be here and try to take your mind off those things. We'll have the best time together while your here in the Philippines." I said

She smiled at me. "Why are you always like that?"

"Like what?"

"Your always kind and understanding. You always make everything more light, your positivity and calm energy is also very contagious."

"Are you sure you're not an angel?" She added

I stifle a soft laugh and said "what?"

"Nothing your just to good to be true"

I quickly kissed her and said. "Who's the sweet talker now babe?"

"We'll I guess we really are meant to be with eachother "

And after a few chit chats, they were so tired that they fell a sleep peacefully. Arms around eachother

"Babe, wake up" I felt being shaken.

"Why?" I said still sleepy

"It's already morning"

"What time is it?"

"Uh..7:30 am"

"It's still too early babe" I said covering my body with the blanket.

"I want to walk the dogs" she pouted but I closed my eyes just to annoy her a little bit. I know I won't win against her. This barbie gets what she wants.

"Fine, I'll do it myself then" she was about to leave but I caught her hand and pulled her. Now... she's on top of me with my arms caging her, not letting her leave.

"Dee! Let go!" She said trying to pull away, and Dee? She calls me that when she's starting to get annoyed.

"Why are you calling me Dee?"

"Michelle, I'll walk your dogs outside. Please let go of me"

"My baby is getting grumpy huh"

"No, am not!"

"Really? Where's my usual morning kiss then? And cuddles?"

"Your not getting any"

"then we're not going anywhere"

"We?"

"Yeah, I was planning to go with you...but your not giving me anything so I think we'll st-" I got cut off when she gave me a kiss all over my face.

I chuckled

"So? Do we get to go now?"

I pretended to think deeply with my hands on my chin, I earned a glare from her. She hit me with a pillow and said "Your so unfair" she said pouting with her arms crossed on her chest.

"Okay, okay" I chuckled and sat properly " I was just kidding, you know I can't say no to you" I said as I hugged her from the side and kissed her on her forehead.

"Let's go? Our babies are waiting for us" I Said which made her happy and gladly took the hand I offered.

This baby is too precious. Small things already makes her happy even though she's going through a hard time. Seeing her happy with our dogs made my day already, I hope we could stay like this forever.

I went to her and held her waist. "So.."

"So, what?"

"What do you think of Palawan?"

Her eyes sparkled." Palawan? The one you always tell me with great beaches?" She asked, excitement visible in her eyes

"Yes. Do you want to go with me?"

"Oh my god, Of course, I would love to." She said and hugged me so tight "thank you" she said while her face is on my neck

"You are always welcome baby" I said and kissed her forehead.

"So off to Palawan we go!"
