Michelle's POV

It's already morning. I woke up with a gorgeous woman beside me. I stared at her caressing her cheeks lightly remembering what she said yesterday, the pain in her eyes are visible. I don't want to see her like that ever again.
But it bothers me that Mr.Porsild suddenly wants Ann to get married when all he wants is for her daughter to be happy, and who's that man? Anntonia seems so upset about him.

I decided to let Ann sleep for a while and went down to do my morning work out because it was only 6 in the morning, and I'll make our breakfast after this.

Anntonia's POV

I woke up from an awful dream and without Michelle by my side that caused me to panic. I checked the bathroom "Michelle?!" Then I went downstairs and saw the table already prepared but no sign of Michelle anywhere, I even checked the backyard but I couldn't find her. I went out of the house panicking and without thinking properly, a car was approaching fast my direction. I couldn't move. 'move Anntonia, move', I thought to myself.
I felt warm hands on my arms and pulled me away from the car.

"Anntonia, what were you thinking?" Michelle asked holding both of my shoulders as I was still gathering what just happened.

"You almost got hit by a car Anntonia. What are you doing outside the house?" She continued.

I couldn't absorb what she was telling me as I found myself staring at her.

"Hey, can you hear me?"

I went and hugged her immediately with my eyes already betraying me. I buried my face to her chest and felt her hand around my body.

"Are you okay? We're you hurt? Do we need to go the hospital?" She asked nonstop.

"I thought you left me" I said crying

Michelle softened and somehow relieved that Anntonia wasn't crying because she got hurt or something.

"Why would you think that?" She pulled away from the hug and cupped both of the woman's cheeks. "I will never leave you, okay. I WILL NEVER"

The woman hugged her again as Michelle rubbed her back trying to calm her down. "Let's go inside, you need to drink some water"

They went inside and head straight to the kitchen as Michelle assisted Anntonia to sit and grab some water.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked while she give Anntonia the glass of water.

"Yes. Sorry about that"

"You don't have to say sorry. As long as your not hurt or anything... I'm good with that" she said with a reassuring smile.

"Thank you baby. Thank you for saving me out there."

"I believe it's also my responsibility you know, but why are outside anyway?"

"I-I panicked because I had a nightmare and I couldn't find you the moment I woke up"

"Would you mind sharing what your dream is all about?" She asked while sitting in front of me.

"I-It's like someone is taking me away from you and when I resisted they.... they hurt you in front of me until.." she told the story as her tears were falling again. "Until you couldn't move anymore because of pain" she looked at Michelle's eyes. "Baby, you know I can't handle seeing you get hurt. I don't want to be taken away from y-"

I felt her arms around me

"Baby, calm down. You won't be taken away from me. You have me by your side and I won't let that happen." She said as she kissed the top of my head.

"I love you so much" I said.

"I love you too. Oh wait!" She said as she rushed by the gate.

She came back with her hands on her wearing her beautiful smile that her eyes would almost disappear.

"What is it?" I asked as she showed a sunflower.

"This is the reason why I left the house."

"Baby" she smiled and and grabbed the sunflower.

"You like it?"

"Of course. I like anything you give me... where did you get this anyway?"

"Well..kuya guard said I can have some from his garden" she said while rubbing her nape. Cute.

"Thank you, baby" and gave her a peck.

"Anything for you"

It's currently 6:30 pm and both of them were preparing because Michelle's mom will arrive a few minutes from now. Michelle is excited because she knows her mom would love Anntonia, she could be physically intimidating but she easy to get along with.

"Do I look okay?" Anntonia asked while staring at her reflection. Michelle walked towards her and snaked her hand around the woman's waist.

"More than okay. You're drop dead gorgeous" she said as rested her chin on Anntonia's shoulder.

"You think she'll like me?" She asked

Michelle made Anntonia face her and placed the woman's hands around her nape. " Of course she will. You'll get along very well" she said and was about to lean in for a kiss when suddenly...

*Ding Ding*

"She's here! Come on" Anntonia said dragging Michelle.

"Wait"

"Come on. I don't want her to wait for too long"

"But.." she sighed. Great timing mum.

Both if them reached the front door. the moment they opened the door a loud greeting from his brother was heard.

"Abe? What are you doing here"

"I drove mum here okay"

"Such a gate crasher" She hugged Abe. "Hi mum" and hugged her too

She held Anntonia's hand and introduced her. "Mum, Abe. This is Anntonia my girlfriend"

"Hello po."

"Wow, sis good taste" her brother said her mum nudged her.

"Oh hi dear, nice to meet you. What made you date my workaholic daughter"

"MUM!"

They chuckled. Surprisingly everything went perfect. Michelle could see Anntonia enjoying mum's company and she's getting comfortable. She was happy that the two important woman in her life get along, laughing together.

She met Anntonia's eyes and mouthed, "I love you"
