Chapter 9

A day that would be filled with sadness and tears as Anntonia looks at her girlfriend sleeping brushing her hair lightly. A tear suddenly dropped knowing it was their last day together and Michelle would go back to the Philippines. With this in mind, she snuggled to the woman who was sleeping and held her tight holding her tears to stop her from crying and not disturb her sleeping girlfriend.... guess what, her tears betrayed her. She sobbed that caused the woman to wake up.

Michelle's POV

She opened her eyes feeling the tightness and warmth of her girlfriend's embrace, and felt something wet on her neck.

"Hey baby, what's wrong?" She asked while trying to make her girl face her.

Ann just shook her head as an answer not wanting Michelle to see her crying. Michelle wrapped her arms around her waist realizing the possible reason of her girlfriend acting this way.

"I'm sorry if you have to get through this, baby" she said that made Anntonia to look at her.

"You don't have to say sorry love, I'm just getting too emotional. I just got used to you being on my side these past two weeks. It's just normal right?"

I nodded and gave her an assuring smile. I kissed her on her forehead, to her nose, and her cheeks. And wipes her tears. "Soo...do you want to do something I don't want to leave without making new memories with you" I chuckled

"No, I just want to stay here with you" she said cutely that made Michelle smile from ear to ear.

"You sure?"

"Yes"

Michelle shrugged and said. " Okay, as you wish my baby"

Little did Ann know her girlfriend prepared a little something for their dinner. She wants her girlfriend to feel special before she leaves and assure her that everything would be alright between them.

FAST FORWARD

Mr. Porsild called me and wanted to have lunch with the whole board before I go back to the Philippines. We also discussed our future plans for our company, and I'm sure I will be working with Ann with those plans and Mr. Porsild will be assisting with things that should be done or not.

"Thank you again Ms. Dee for trusting us. I hope you enjoyed your stay here and have a safe flight back home" Mr. Porsild said and shook our hand.

"You're welcome Mr. Porsild, and thank you too. Thailand is magnificent"

AT THE ROOM

We went back to my room after the lunch arranged by Mr. Porsild, it was full of laughter and amusement. I got to know how my business partners are like without thinking about any business, they're so fun to be with. I Know my team will get along with them when the time has come for them to meet.

A sudden thought came out of my mind, "how could probably be my family and Ann's family react when we tell them about our relationship? Will they accept us?" Knowing our family's opinions matters to us.

"Hey, love" I said to get Anntonia's attention. She was at the bathroom.

"Hmm?"

"What do you think of our family's reaction if we tell them about....us?"

She stared at me with my sudden question and slowly walked towards me and sat on my lap with her other hand around my neck.

"Well...I know my family would be okay with it."

"Really??"

"Yes.. what about you're family? Do you..." She said and swallowed hard. "Do you think they'll like me?" She asked nervously.
