"Yay!"
Yoshi can't help but coo with Jisung's small 'yay!' He agreed to a sleepover at Jisung's place after his best friend begged him to do so.
Every time Yoshi visits Jisung's for a sleepover, his best friend's dad always gives him a cold shoulder attitude.
"There's no need to worry. My parents won't be home for the entire week. That's why I requested that you stay with me. I'm afraid to stay alone,"Jisung admitted when they arrived at his house.
"Is it because of the rumours?"
Jisung nodded.
"I'm not certain if the rumours are true, but I'm still scared of living alone."
There has been a rise in the number of murders in their neighbourhood recently. It has been rumoured that the act was committed by a serial killer who escaped from prison.
However, the police did not provide any information about the release of prisoners. The police may choose not to release information to avoid causing panic among the public.
"Maybe you should stay with me." His best friend gives suggestions.
Yoshi is staying by himself. His parents are staying overseas because of his father's job.
"I can't. You know that I can leave my dad, but not my mom."Jisung said, then put his backpack on the couch.
Yoshi mirrored his actions before they both went to the kitchen. Jisung's mother claims that she has already cooked meals for the week. He is grateful for his mother's effort, even if it's just a simple meal.
"I know, but.."Yoshi's words were interrupted by Jisung's phone ringing.
The shorter person took out their phone. His frown deepened as he saw the caller's name.
"Don't tell me I need to work tonight.." Jisung whines.
Yoshi let his closest friend answer the call while he made sure there were enough rice for both of them by heading to the rice cooker.
"Okay. Yes, I know. I will arrive within an hour. Okay.."
Yoshi was able to hear his best friend's sighed clearly. Without questioning, he was aware that Jisung had to work tonight.
Actually, he didn't know the shorter's job, but he never asked. This happened because Jisung did not know about Yoshi's job either.
As far as Yoshi is concerned, it was the best for them. Despite not knowing each other's jobs, neither of them encountered any problems.
