"You're telling me nothing happened between you guys at all?"
Violet shakes her head no, denying the statement. "Oh come on! You're totally lying." Chelsea teases.
Violet groans, covering her face with her hands. "All that happened was me embarrassing myself because of all the alcohol I had. There's no way we're ever gonna have a normal conversation again."
"Well you would know for sure if you didn't ignore him at the store yesterday!"
She's right. Violet did see him at the store yesterday. He raised his hand to say hi, but violet avoided him all together. It's been a week since the block party, but her and Chelsea have hung out every day since. Mainly because violet was hung over for two whole days and Chelsea's been taking care of her. Today's the first day violet's agreed to talk about that night.
"It can't be that bad" Chelsea continues, "What did you even do? and be specific this time. I'll honestly tell you if it's as bad as you think. Promise"
"Fine." Violet Agrees.
-
"And I kept and I mean KEPT telling him he was the daddy type, and so sexy, and that I watched him play football out the window because I couldn't stop staring at him!" Violet sighs, finishing.
"That.... was a lot" Chelsea says. "But come on, He knew it was your first time drinking! He probably forgot about it"
"Chelsea!"
"Fine. It's bad, really bad"
Violet hits her friend with a pillow. "I knew It"
"I have an Idea" Chelsea starts, pulling out her phone. "What's his name again?
"Luke"
"Lukeeeee-"
"I don't know his last name"
"Know where he works?"
"Guitar center!" Violet shouts, remembering the shirt he had on the day she met him.
"Right here. Luke hemmings. Manager at Guitar Center" She reads, tapping away at her screen.
"Let me see that." Violet snatches her phone, beginning to scroll through his facebook page. She comes across a picture of him and timothee. Then another, then a picture of him and his employees, she scrolls past a picture of him and his mother; fingers stopping once they come across a picture of him and a girl. She's pretty. Medium length brunette hair, doe brown eyes, and the perfect sized tits. The photo is from six months ago, but its clear that they're a couple.
"He has a girlfriend"
"what?" Chelsea asks.
"He has a girlfriend" violet repeats herself. "All this worrying and he's not even available."
"I don't know, the picture looks kind of old.. and that could be his sister for all we know-"
"No, this makes sense. He probably just sees me as some little girl with a crush anyway."
"Well let's find out" Chelsea smirks, as she stands up and grabs her purse. "And while we're at it lets find out his age shall we?"
-
"Right here. turn" Chelsea directs violet, as she reluctantly pulls into the parking lot of the Guitar Center Luke works at.
Violet groans. "This is your idea?"
"Just follow along, he won't suspect a thing"
Violet and Chelsea exit the jeep and begin walking across the parking lot to the entrance of the store. They stop once they're standing in front of the door, both take in a deep breath. Then swing the door open. They look around, attempting to act nonchalant as they make their way over to a random aisle that has pianos in it.
"Let me know if you ladies need help finding anything" A familiar voice speaks. Both girls turn around, coming face to face with Luke Hemmings.
Chelsea leads the ruse, Acting as if this wasn't planned. "You look so familiar!"
"I get that a lot" He shrugs, not yet noticing violet because she's looking down with her arms wrapped around her figure.
"Oh i know! You were at that block party. Weren't you?" She taps violets shoulder. "Violet, wasn't he at the block party?"
At this violet looks up, her eyes connecting with luke's.
"O-oh" she looks away sheepishly, "I think he was"
"You think? I would've thought you'd remember me for sure....neighbor"
"It was a blurry night for me" she laughs nervously
"Oh I don't find that hard to believe in the slightest.. After all, you did.... never mind, actually" He shakes his head chuckling.
"What? I what" Violet asks, over eagerly.
"You said some things is all."
"Well, I was drunk. so whatever I said, dosen't count" she huffs.
"You still said it" He teases.
"Said what?" She partially shouts.
"I.... Have to go to the bathroom violet, i'll be right back" Chelsea speaks up, as she proceeds to walk away.
Luke clears his throat. "Well, I don't want to embarrass you sweetheart. I know it was probably just the alcohol. Plus, I'm at work. I'll tell you another time."
"I wanna know now"
"You can't know now"
"Please"
"Later"
"Pleaseeeeeee"
"Sure, another day"
"Just tell me! I'll do anything"
"Hmmmmm, anything?" He smirks.
"Within reason" violet responds, looking down.
"Give me your phone" Luke holds his hand out.
Violet slowly hands it over. It's unlocked. He clicks on the phone icon, and types his number in. Upon saving it, he send himself a text. With that he hands violet back her phone. Her eyebrows furrowing in confusion. She opens her message app, and sees a text sent to someone saved as "daddy"
"Luke-" She looks up, but he is already walking away.
"I'll text you what you said love. don't worry" He turns around, walking off.
