wishing on shooting stars...

you were currently getting ready for the day, it was saturday so that meant you and your friend were gonna go out today. as for what you were doing it was tomas' turn to pick that out, so you didn't know for sure, but you still stuck to a simple look as you knew he would never do something too fancy.

just as you were about to start on your hair you hear a knock on your door and you sigh as you get up to answer it, "is he early or am i just taking too long...?" you instantly open the door and tomas slips past, "don't worry you're not taking too long, i just wanted to come early."

you were slightly shocked as you stare at the man, "did you hear me-" "no, i just assumed...you can finish getting ready now." you nod, "right, of course." you close the door and make your way to your room as tomas follows happily behind.

once your back in-front of your mirror tomas seats himself on your bed as begins messing with various stuffed animals around him, the nice silence between you two doesn't last long as you slyly ask, "can i have a hint for where we're going?" "of course not! when we decided to do this, we promised not to spoil the surprise. no matter what."

you roll your eyes as you study yourself in the mirror, "i still don't remember agreeing to that." "trust me, you did." you sigh and step in-front of the man as he nervously gazes over your body. you slightly smile and twirl before him, "how do i look?" "you know you look good y/n, now let's go!"

his hand slips in yours as he rushes you out of your room. once you reach the door, you slip on your shoes and grab your keys as the two of you make your way out of the house. once you begin walking, you try to quiz the man once more, "is this going to be a long walk?" "no it won't, but if you get tired let me know and i'll carry you." you notice the sincere smile on his lips that follows after his friendly offer, but you still feel yourself blush...

you quickly fix your composure and, to mask your flustered state, you chuckle to the man, "maybe on the way back." he only nods as he continues to sweetly smile, still leading you to his chosen 'date' spot...

after some time you come to a field, but it's covered in cherry blossoms as the trees continue to lose more petals around you. the beauty was only enhanced due to the time you arrived, that being just before the sun began to set, you smile at the scenery.

after you enjoy the moment in silence you bring your gaze to tomas who looks back to you, "this is so...beautiful...i've never been here at this time..." tomas smiles, "neither have i, i just thought it'd look nice," his gaze turns back to the open area, "and clearly i was right."

you chuckle, "you definitely were..." your hand finds his once more as you begin walking off with him, "let's find a better spot to watch the sunset." tomas smiles in response and nods as he follows you to a bench that has a perfect outlook on the area. so perfect that, when the sun sets, you had a clearing above you to look at the stars as well...

you both sit down and look around from the bench, your two bodies so close together...you could feel tension rise within you...you quickly dismiss your thoughts, knowing that you didn't want to ruin the friendship you had with him...

the two of you continue to watch in silence as the sun finally disappears completely from the horizon and darkness encloses over the sky. you sigh and lean your head on tomas' shoulder, the man slightly turns his head to look down at you, "tired?" you hum, "no...it's just peaceful."

he hums as well, bringing his gaze back up to the sky as he watches stars begin to appear, "it is really nice out here...especially with you." you jokingly scoff and sit up to look at tomas, "i didn't know you could be so romantic." the man jokingly rolls his eyes at your comment, "you just don't pay attention."

you chuckle, "i guess you're right." you lean back onto him and you feel his head lean on yours, a sweet silence falling between you...until you hear a twinkling and the two of you look up to see a shooting star...tomas happily says, "oh! make a wish!"

even though it seemed childish, you both straighten up as you tightly close your eyes, put your hands together, and make a wish...yours being simple, for tomas to actually notice the way you feel...you couldn't even imagine what the man beside you would want...

once you open your eyes, you turn your gaze to tomas...his eyes already on you as he looks at you with so much love and care, "what'd you wish for?" you slightly chuckle, "then it wouldn't come true."

he laughs in response as he turns his eyes back up to the sky, leaning back on the bench, "must be pretty important." "very." you lean back as well and for what seemed like the hundredth time that day, silence flows around you two.

after some time tomas speaks up, "should we head back? it's pretty late." you dramatically sigh, "i guess so since you hate being around me so much." you then stand up, but feel a hand quickly grab yours. you look down to see tomas staring up at you with innocent eyes, "who said that? i love being around you!"

you giggle, turning back to him as you carefully place your hand on his cheek, "it was a joke tomas, i know you don't hate me." he leans into your touch and smiles up at you, "good because you're never getting rid of me." you lean closer to him and whisper, "good because i would never let you go."

you notice how close you are to him and straighten back up, letting your hand fall from his face, but with his still in yours you pull him forward, "let's head back." he smiled in response, but you could've sworn you saw disappointment in his eyes and you didn't quite know why...

you continue walking hand in hand, the walk being peaceful once more as you speak, "can i take you up on that offer from earlier?" "tired of walking already?" you smile and nod, "please?" tomas smiles in return and kneels in-front of you so you can hop up on his back...

you swiftly situate yourself atop him and, once you're comfy, tomas effortlessly rises and begins making his way to your house....smiles adorning both of your faces as you hold him tightly...

"you know," tomas starts, "i don't see how you could be tired from walking when we've been sitting for hours..." you giggle, "that's because i wasn't, it was just an excuse to get closer to you." you slightly squeeze tighter which emits a chuckle from the man, "you could've just said so, you didn't have to make up a lie." you rest your head on him and sigh, "i'll keep that in mind..."

you had finally reached your house, tomas kneels once more for you to get down and once you are, the two of you walk to your door. before you unlock it you turn to tomas, "i had fun tonight...i'm looking forward to next weekend." "i'm curious to see what you have planned...but i think it'll be difficult to top this night."

you giggle and shyly look down, "yea me too," you look back up to him with a nervous blush on your cheeks, "can i- um...can i kiss you?" the man's eyes slightly widen at your sudden request, a blush quickly forming on his face as well...

even you're shocked at what you just said and before he can even get a word out, you instantly try to backtrack as you nervously fumble over your words, "sorry i- i wasn't thinking and-" but you're suddenly cut off as you feel lips on yours. your widened eyes quickly relax as you lean more into the kiss...your hands go up his body to his chest as his find your waist and he pulls you closer.

after some time you pull apart, both breathless, and tomas is the first to say something, "it'll definitely be difficult to top this night..." you let out a breathy chuckle and bring your eyes up to the man's, a small smile on your face, "it seems my wish came true."

the man can't help, but smile as he begins to lean in once more...before letting his lips touch yours once more he softly whispers, "mine too..." the two of you smile as your lips touch once more in a sweet, tender kiss...
