Colorado

I woke up in the morning with Shawn still around me. He looked absolutely perfect sleeping and I couldn't wake him. I tried to slowly get up, but he woke up. He looked around and stretched. "Good morning Riley. How'd you sleep?" "Good." I then noticed the guys looking at us in shock. "Wow. Are you guys a thing now?" Cam asked. We both shook our heads at the same time. My mom came downstairs "do you want some breakfast?" We all cheered and ran upstairs. She made her famous waffles. I missed them. She stood at the counter "so we're are you guys going today?" "Colorado." I said with my mouth full. "Nice. What time do you leave?" "12." She nodded. I didn't want to leave, I missed being home.

It was around 12. I said my goodbyes and went to the limo. I've never actually been to Colorado, so I guess I'm excited. We drove past Rob's house and was outside. He just stared as the guys flipped him off. I do admit, it was funny.

-skips plane ride-

We grabbed our luggage and grouped together. We had to wait for Bart to get here before we could leave for the hotel. After about 10 minutes of waiting, he showed up. "Sorry about that. Ready to go?" We nodded and walked out of the building. Shawn and I decided to walk together. As soon as we got outside, I stopped. He noticed I stopped so he did too. "Wow. It's beautiful! Isn't it?" The mountains looked so pretty and I had to stop. I turned to him when he didn't answer. He kept his eyes on me "yeah. Very." He blushed "um let's catch up with the guys." He grabbed my hand and we started running until we caught up with them. I don't know why he was so nervous all of the sudden. I just asked him if the mountains were beautiful or not. I'll ask him later.

We finally got to the hotel and got situated. Bart said that we should go and have dinner at the top of the mountains. Of course we were up for it and left to the ski lift. I thought the view couldn't get any better, but I was wrong. It was breathtaking. We finally got to the top. It kind of looked weird with us all walking in. We ordered and sat down outside. The food was good, the view was stunning and I was with my best friends. Life couldn't get better. I wanted to ask Shawn about earlier, but at the right time. So I decided to wait until everyone got up and he was done eating. So when that happened I stood up "Shawn, can I talk to you?"

*Shawn's P.O.V*

Oh no. Did she wanna talk about earlier? I didn't want to tell her that I liked her, especially when she just had a bad breakup. I stood up and nodded. I just hope it isn't bad.
