Carnival Date

*Riley's P.O.V*

It was the day of Shawn and my second date. I was so excited even though I had no idea what we where doing. We weren't in the area of our event but we had stopped in Missouri.

I began getting ready. Shawn told me I could wear whatever I wanted, so I put on light blue skinny jeans and a black crop top. I curled my hair and wore my favorite pair of vans. My phone buzzed and it was Shawn telling me to go down to the lobby.

"Hey Ally?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you sure you're okay with staying here?"

"Yeah! And I can be with my boyfriend."

Boyfriend? I haven't seen any little kids and she's not even allowed to date. "And who's that?"

"Cameron.."

All I could do was laugh. He was way older than her but it was cute. Mahogany had came to pick her up after I said goodbye. I went down to the lobby to meet Shawn. He looked good. He wore jeans and a hoodie. He held out his hand and I took it.

We started to walk. It kind of felt nice that we didn't call a limo or cab. We held hands all the way to a little carnival.

"Here we are."

"It looks so pretty."

He smiled and led me to the Zipper. I've never been on that ride because I was scared of it.

"We are so going on this."

"Haha no."

"It's not that scary, honestly. Pleaseeeee?" He made a pouty face.

"Ugh fine."

He pulled me to the line. I was super scared and I thought I would pee myself.

The worker directed us to the cage. We sat down and he locked us in. Then, to be an ass, he spun the cage and started the ride. The whole time I screamed and Shawn laughed at me.

"It's not funny!!" He just continued to laugh until it stopped. I got out and walked funny. It wasn't too bad.

The rest of the time he played games for me. He won me a huge minion that I wanted.

At night, the lights of the rides looked beautiful over the river.

"Want to go on the Ferris wheel?"

"Duuuhhhhh"

We walked to the Ferris wheel and waited for our turn. I sat down and he followed. He sat super close to me and rapped his arms around me. He laid his head on top of mine, which laid on his shoulder. I felt warm and secure in his arms.

The ride went slow. I've never been on a slow Ferris wheel before, but it was perfect. Our box stopped at the top. That's when I looked Shawn in the eyes. The lights made his eyes pop and he became so irresistible. He met my eyes and leaned in. Our lips met and even though there wasn't any fireworks on the outside, in my own little world, I could feel the tiny fireworks explode.

"This date has been perfect and I wouldn't ask for anyone better."

"Same. You mean so much to me and i really do love you."

"I love you too."

Again we kissed and I felt little butterflies in my stomach. He gave me this feeling of pure happiness that I've never felt before. It's like he put a spell over me.

We walked back to the hotel. He wanted to stay in my room again, I was totally fine with it.

I walked in and Ally had been sitting on the bed with wet hair watching tv.

"Riley!" She got up and hugged me.

"What are you doing up?"

"I wanted to wait for you and Shawn to get back."

"Oh okay. So how was your day?"

"Amazing! We played a bunch of games and even got pizza."

"Great. I'm glad you had fun."

Shawn then walked in the door. He wanted to change really quickly. Ally greeted Shawn and climbed into bed. Like the other night, we all laid the same.

I couldn't sleep. He is such an amazing boyfriend and we haven't even been dating for that long.

My heart bested fast just thinking about him.
