First Show

I woke up and looked over at Mahogany's bed. I guess she already got up. I checked my phone to see a million Twitter notifications and that it was already 10 am. So I got up and got ready.

Today was the first show in LA. I was super nervous because I don't really sing in front of people. I have always been super shy about performing and it's mostly because my confidence is low.

After getting ready I walked over to Cam's room. I knocked and he opened the door. "Look who's finally up!" I guess everyone was in his room because I heard a bunch of cheering. "Hello guys." I laughed. "So the plan is that we're going to the area at 11 to do sound checks. The shows at 3 so we have time." Nash announced. We all nodded. "We should get lunch after sound checks!" Matt yelled. Then there was a burst of restaurant names. "Ok we'll pick after checks." Gilinsky yelled to calm everyone down. Then there was a knock at the door and Bart walked in. "You all ready to go?" We stood up and walked to the lobby. Wow, we get to ride in a limo! We piled in and I sat next to Shawn. "Hey" he blushed. "Hey. Are you excited?" He nodded "yeah. I've always wanted to do this. It's like I'm living in a dream." "It is. Even though I have stage fright." I laughed and he looked like I just killed someone "What? You're telling me that YOU have stage fright??" He smiled as I laughed "yep." "Holy crap! You're amazing, I've seen your videos and you have nothing to worry about." Now I was the one blushing. "Thanks."

We finally got to the performing area. I would be going 3rd, which gave me some time to warm up. Shawn grabbed his guitar and ran on stage. He sat down on a stool. He began playing. I recognized the song, it was 'Be Alright' by Justin Bieber. He began singing and holy shit, he sounded amazing. I stood there daydreaming. I suddenly snapped out of it when Shawn walked by "Your turn Riley. Break a leg." He smiled and stood next to me. I slowly walked up to the mic and the music played. I decided to sing Break Free by Ariana Grande. As soon as I began singing, I felt ok. I totally forgot that all of the boys (and Mahogany) were watching me. Not bad. When I finished I noticed Shawn looking at me. I walked off and he hugged me. "You did great!"

We decided to to McDonalds. It wasn't fancy but it was ok. "Wow Riley, I didn't know you could sing" Carter said and everyone agreed. "Nah. I don't think so at least." They shook their heads and began eating. My phone buzzed. Rob. "Hey guys I gotta take this." The jacks frowned because they knew who it was. I walked outside as I answered it
"Hello?"
"Hey. Is it a bad time?"
"Nah. I was just eating. It's okay."
"Oh well I just wanted to tell you that I missed you."
"I miss you too."
We continued our conversation and he finally let me go. Damn he never shuts up. I walked back inside and everyone was happy again.

At the show, there were so many screaming girls and a few guys, especially when the guys went on. My turn. I walked on stage and they screamed. I began my song and I honestly didn't feel nervous. The song ended and I think I saw people crying? I waved and left the stage.

After the show we were pretty tired, so we headed back to the hotel. We ended our night with good nights. Tomorrow was going to be a travel day.
