*Riley's P.O.V*

I got up and Shawn followed me. We went to the viewing area so the guys wouldn't hear us.

"Is everything ok?" He looked like I was going to tell him something bad, but it wasn't.

"Yeah. I just have a question." I didn't want to make him nervous. He stared waiting for my question.

"Okay. Um, I wanted to ask why you got nervous all of the sudden the other day." I laughed and continued "I was just asking if the view was pretty." He stared for a second and sighed

"Riley, I've seen these mountains before." What was that supposed to mean? "I wasn't looking at them, I was looking at you when I agreed to something being beautiful. And what I was trying to say is that you're beautiful, not the mountains."

My heart dropped. Did he.. Just call me beautiful? "What? You really think so?"

He nodded "Yes, I do. I didn't want to tell you because you just went through a hard break up and I thought it would be wrong." I blushed.

"That's so sweet." Nobody has really said that to me in a while, it felt good to hear it. Before I knew it, I hugged him. I bet it took a lot for him to say that. I guess the guys saw us hugging because they all yelled "Aw!" Shawn blushed and so did I.

Soon we had to go back to the hotel for the night. We all got situated and I was about to fall asleep. Then, like the usual, I started thinking. I thought about Rob and my family. I kissed my family and I hated Rob. I got out my phone and texted Shawn.

R: Hey. Can't sleep.
S: same. Just a second.

He didn't reply, but then I heard a faint knock at the door. I quietly got up so I wouldn't wake Mahogany. Shawn stood in the doorway with his pajamas on, but he was wearing shoes.
"Go get some shoes and a coat on. You're coming with me." He smiled and I didn't hesitate. I went and grabbed everything. When I got out of the door he was already down the hall.

"Where are we going?" I whispered.

"We're going for a walk." I ran faster to catch up with him. I checked my phone to see twitter and that the time was 12 am. "Where could be possibly walk at 12 am?" I said showing him my phone.

"You'll see."

We got outside and started walking. It was super cold out but gorgeous. I hated it though because I had no makeup on and I was still in my pajamas. After about 15 minutes, I started to get irritated. I was tired and it looked like we were going to do nothing. We soon walked up to a kids playground and Shawn walked over to the swings.

"Shawn. What the hell are we doing here?" He smiled and sat down.

"Just sit down." He patted the other swing. I sat down, he brought me to a swing set. He looked up and took a deep breath. "When I can't sleep, I usually go somewhere that I can relax my mind a little bit. And you said you couldn't either, so I wanted to show you my trick." I looked around and then I understood. It was relaxing, actually. He kept his gaze on me and he smiled.

"What?" I laughed.

"Nothing." He smiled and looked down.

"Tell me. Or I'm leaving." He looked at me again.

"You just look pretty without makeup. Even when you're still in pajamas." He beamed. I smiled back.

"You don't look so bad yourself." He was really hot in his pajamas because his hair had been all messy.

We sat for about 30 minutes, just talking about all of our problems. I need it because I had so much on my mind, and he's pretty much the one I can fully trust. And he even told me about his problems. I'm glad he can trust me too.

"Do you feel better now?"

"Yeah. Thank you for everything." I got up and hugged him. His hugs still gave me butterflies every time. I pulled away from the hug, without taking my hands away from his body. For a minute long, we just looked at each other in the eyes. Then he pulled me closer.

Our lips came together, and we had our first kiss together.
