I must correct this very misunderstood mistake... its... its actually a Parable. The word fasting is symbolism, but the world has taken it for its litteral meaning which means going without any food....... for days, weeks or even months at a time, which isn't what Jesus meant at all. To fast means to devote yourself entirely to GOD for some time when you have specific work to do for GOD. (I am fasting for the foreseeable future doing this job exactly!)

Pilgrimages, Bible study weekends, taking a year in bible school to become a priest or pope or vicar, mormons who are missionaries going around from house to house for a time speaking the word of GOD, taking time in mosteries or nunneries spending your time either praying for over half the day or spending your time helping others to turn to faith in GOD and going out to people in need (nuns) or even writting a book about God and Jesus or God's holy Angels, these are all good examples of fasting.

Jesus says when you go without "food" meaning following the orders of man, but "fast" meaning you follow the orders of GOD, you should "colm your hair, wear your best clothes, put makeup on" jesus is explaining that when people are devoting themselves to God their true happiness and joy shows clearly, even in the way they care for themselves and present themselves and they way they walk and talk! next it says, GOD IS. "God has spoken the Truth into everybody's hearts... that GOD IS." so I assure you you already have your pay" meaning you are already in full knowledge, the best knowledge one can have, in order to do as God has planned for you, while it also means that your "reward" is decided in your "full pay" - your reward from GOD is that GOD will write your name in the Holy book of Life (which, as I can see, is right infront of his throne.) and you will have your place accepted by jesus and confirmed in The Kingdom of GOD, and the ark of our LORD will be on your forehead, especially if you are baptised in our lords God and jesus... This is devoting yourselves to GOD. (Yes, GOD and Jesus accept christening and baptism and blessings.) It also says "GOD sees what is unseen." For GOD Is. God knows everything and sees exactly your very intent and meaning and reason behind your work and all the deep seated unconcious and depths of your heart and soul in all you do, things perhaps even you nor anyone around you can see....... but God knows every hair on your forhead. For everybody is to try to spend some of thier lives devoted to God for something, and some people devote thier entire lives to GOD, but when one is entirely for GOD on a job... this is fasting. The parable is describing what Gods servants are to do. It is telling us that God has a plan for all of us, and there will come a time in our Lives when we have to stay only and purely faithful to GOD Our Lord, no matter what, and our true beaututy is meaning that we will become holy angels of GOD is we do so... this is a parable about Revelation and Jesus's return when one will have to stay true to GOD and not turn, and jesus is preparing Gods children with this knowledge already and equipping them with everything they need to know to pass Armageddon... for those who will GOD already knows, and they are already fasting, and they are already Vivid Angels most of them, but some are to become Angels....... and GOD is calling on them all as we speak. God is calling you all. GOD is talking to you. Answer Him.
