Next Day In Amouni...

"STOP IT, GUYS!! Enough with this fish market full of rumors. I didn't felt anything like that," he shouted interrupting them.

Sana responded, "What?! Rumors? It's not rumors, Agrest-"

Adrien cut her off, "Then do you have any proof, Sana?"

"..." Sana hesitated,

Seri interjected, "No, but-"

Adrien continued firmly, "But what, Seri? Listen, guys, these are just rumors spread by students. I met her yesterday; she's nothing like how you all described her. She's a nice, innocent girl with good manners. Have any of you personally met or talked to her? No, right? But I have, and my experience was completely opposite to what I've heard from you. Instead of believing baseless rumors, why not trust someone who actually knows her?"

"It's not that I don't believe you all," he added, "I just didn't feel the same way about her as you all said. Because of these rumors, no one is befriending her. That's why I've decided to befriend her. I would appreciate it if you all would treat her well, as my friend." Adrien smiled tightly.

Adrien had been discussing the previous day's encounter with Marinette. Everything had been normal until his friends bombarded him with questions about her, expressing disappointment at the rumors circulating about her in Amouni.

She's a good person, so why does everyone think of her that way? Adrien wondered. Even his friends would mention the new student being rude and weird, which he found unconvincing after meeting her.

He believed it was just jealousy among students. Adrien was trying to change his friends' perception, defending the innocent girl. While he agree she had shouted at him, but he felt anyone would have reacted similarly in that situation.

Sam spoke up, "He's right, guys. We've never talked to her ourselves; we've just been giving her a cold shoulder based on rumors. Who knows? Maybe she's really not what we expect and is more like how Adrien described her. Shouldn't we extend a hand of friendship? Let's trust Adrien. What do you say?"

"But sami I don't think so it's a goo-" Sana said

Sana hesitated to agree, but Sam countered, "Shut up, Sana! No negativity. Let's give her a chance. At least be friendly to her. Didn't you hear she's Adrien's friend now?"

Sam opposed, taking Adrien's side.. He is so understanding.. sometimes making Adrien feel so fortunate to have him as by his side as his best friend...

Sam tried to explain everyone while seri attempted to protest but sam didn't let her. Eventually at last Everyone decides to welcome Marinette in their group warmly just for Adrien... making him smile...

They really are ready to do anything for me... That's why They are really special to me... Adrien thought..

Adrien and his friends were chatting about random things when Adrien noticed Marinette entered the class as he stood up...

"Hey Marinette! Over here!" Adrien called out, Smiling at her...

She turned at the familiar voice and found Adrien smiling at her and responded with a equally warm smile and approached him welcomed by a handshake from him which she gladly accepted...

And just as last an electric wave ran through her spines as their skin came in contact, Marinette laughed nervously as she immediately took back her hand..

"Good morning.. Marinette" Adrien greeted her cheerfully

"Good morning to you too Adrien" she replied, smiling...
