Chapter 13: The Birthday

Aurora's pov

I was sleeping peacefully in my bed, lost in beautiful dreams of Adrien and me, lounging by a beautifully decorated open pool, alone, with a perfect view of the city. We were both drenched in water, wrapped up in slow romance but everything got interrupted when suddenly, a deep, masculine voice interrupted my slumber, it was none other than my dad! causing me to groan in annoyance.

"Morning, Princess! Wake up now! Fast!"

"Nnooo... Dad! Five more minutes! It's a holiday today!" I snuggled deeper into my pillow, trying to reclaim my dream.

"Aruu... No, Princess. Come on, wake up now..." he said softly, stroking my hair.

I groaned lazily, sitting up in bed while yawning while I looked towards dad with my hardly half open eyes.

My dad smiled at me, adoringly, and kissed my forehead

"Happy Birthday Sweetheart! Dad loves you" He whispered softly looking at me, stroking my cheeks as I smiled at him and placed my hands on his

"Thank you dad! and I love you too" I said softly

"It would have been great if your mother-"

"She is with us dad!! She is!!she was and always will be!! She is still alive in our heart and memories! Now come on don't be sad on such a day or I'll complain mom about it and she'll be angry!! Don't blame me then" I said and hugged him as he hugged me back chuckling

"Okay okay my little princess!! I won't be sad! Now get up fast and get fresh, I made your favourite breakfast!!!"

I immediately broke the hug and looked at him excitement running through me

"Really!!!" I questioned

he nodded making as I jumped out of bed...

"I'll be there in 5 minutes dada!!! SERVE THE FOOOOD!!!!!" I said and ran towards washroom after kissing his cheeks....

Richard's pov

I Chuckled watching her rushing towards the washroom after kissing my cheeks, she closed the door behind her as I sighed and stood to go out of her room when...

"DAD!!!!!!" she screamed from inside....

"Yes! Sweetheart!!"

"YOU ARE THE BESTTT DAD EVER!!!" she screamed as I Chuckled and went out of her room...

My little princess, She is really precious to me and everything I have so does she. We lost her mother when she was just one and from that day, she became the reason of my life... I didn't remarried because I wasn't ready to replace her mother nor I ever will be and I was also afraid if she will truly accept my daughter or not, I know I risked her life once in the past & I regret it everyday and I am really glad she is still here..... with me... I worked hard to raise her well and as far as I see I did...

It's her birthday today and all her friends and Adrien planned a Secret Birthday Party for her. Yes, I am also included and I have to make the cake for that before Six... but for that she needs to be out of the House and for that her friends will be helping me...

Aurora's pov

I got ready really fast and happily came down and found dad lost in his own thoughts.... as I called him

"Dad!!" he snapped back to reality and served me the plate immediately smiling happily as I attacked the food..
