When Universes Collide

First meeting

The day was finally here that Stella and Brittany will be finally meeting. As much as she was excited to meet her especially after hearing all the great things about her from Kelly and TJ she could tell she was a great mom and great person so she felt like they would really hit it off well. They agreed to go to the diner by the boys school so after they got them at school they headed to the diner. When they pulled up Brittany had not gotten there yet so they waited on her before getting out and heading in. Once she got there about 10 minutes later they got out of their cars

Stella walked over to her car and introduced herself before Brittany did the same introducing herself to Stella before introducing herself to Billy as well and giving TJ a hug and Kelly a wave as they headed in. They got in the diner and placed their orders before filling up their drinks and going to sit down and wait on their food. Brittany started the conversation "how are y'all two doing" she asked both Stella and Kelly " as a couple great and as individuals just as good" Kelly replied before Stella said "agreed. How about you" "that's good to hear Kelly I haven't seen you this happy since the beginning of our relationship so it's good to see you deserve it. Thanks for asking I'm great as well" she responded " thank you and know you do too" Kelly responded "so how long have you two been together now" she asked "6 months almost 7" Stella replied "ohh nice" Brittany responded back. "So do either of you want marriage or more kids" she asked "one or two more kids and yes on marriage when the time is right" Stella responded "well I hope that's together because you can tell how happy you make one another it's refreshing to see" Brittany replied "thank you" Kelly said. "So what do you do for a living Stella and how old might your little boy be. He's a lovely little man from all I hear from TJ" Brittany said " I have a foundation Girls on Fire to help underprivileged girls be able to get the chance to train as a firefighter and hopefully become one, I also work at the Harlos diner part time, and I'm a firefighter at station 18. Billy is 4 almost 5 as well" Stella told her as Brittany stared in amazement "look at you go. Great job Stella" "thank you". They got their food and ate real quick before starting conversation back up "I'm assuming you've heard about the museum field trip coming up are you going to be able to get off and go" Brittany asked "yes I plan on going as a chaperone.what about you" stella replied " Same here. Maybe we could get there a little early and look around together before the kids get there" she replied "I would love that " said Stella so they were now putting in their calendars so they can hang out before the kids get there and do some sight seeing of their own. Stella could tell even through her introduction that Brittany is exactly who Kelly and TJ had been telling her she was. " So Kelly you still working on boats when you can I know that's something you used to love doing " Brittany asked "yes just not as much between the firehouse and teaching at the academy on top of being a partner and parent I don't have as much time as I used too but when I can I try to get a couple in" Kelly asked "I completely understand it's so hard to find time for a lot of things in life besides work" she replied "most definitely" said Kelly. After a bit more chatting Brittany got up to go and take TJ with her as it was her week with him. Everyone stood up and prepared to leave. Kelly and Brittany shook hands and said it was nice to have a little catch up before her and Stella give each other a big hug and told her how nice it was to finally meet her to which Brittany agreed.

After they left the diner Billy, Stella, and Kelly headed to Walmart to get a few items for the house before heading home to the loft. Once they got home they all showered and got into their pajamas before turning on mobile patrol and watching it with Billy. Stella was sitting one side of Billy with her arm behind him and Kelly was sitting on the other side with his arm over Stellas slightly holding it as they watched the show. After he got bored of paw patrol Stella and Kelly played cops and robbers, hide and seek, and firefighters with him before Kelly made some pork chops while Stella made some mashed potatoes, gravy, Mac n cheese, baked beans, and yellow rice for dinner. Once dinner was done they sat down and ate talking about how their days were and what they were excited for the next day they headed off to bed Billy wanted to try to sleep in his own bed alone again tonight so Stella went and laid down with him reading to him and assured him if he needs he can always come to her and Kellys room and sleep. While she did that Kelly was doing the dishes and then called TJ to tell him good night and that he loved him. He turned the TV to the bulls game and started to watch it for a while before Stella come out of Billys room. She wanted to go lay down in bed and asked Kelly to join her so he turned off the TV and made sure the door was locked up and then headed to brush his teeth and hair before climbing in bed just in case he fell asleep watching TV. He walked in and Stella was already laying in bed and had the bulls game on there. As he got in bed they started to make out which ultimately led to them making love before laying in bed and talking about what they were grateful for and some of their goals both as individuals and as a couple. Stella is actively trying to fill in the position open for leutinunt for truck 81 at 51 but the paper through hasn't been accepted or denied yet so that's a waiting game. Kelly also had a few surprises waiting up his sleeve for her coming and Stellaride will be getting their own surprises very soon. Kelly started to fall asleep right at the end of the game so he turned over turned the TV off then rolled over into Stella wrapping his arms around her planting a kiss on her lips and saying good night and that they love one another as they dozed off.
