They had just gotten home from their fishing trip and boy did they all need it. Kelly was unpacking their bags from the car while Stella and the boys were heading inside to get cleaned up and into their PJs as they planned on just chilling today and watch some movies together. Kelly and Stella also had discussed and decided that they would tell the boys they are dating today they felt it was time especially with them becoming more serious.
After Kelly had everything in and they were all in their PJs Stella decided to go and start a load of laundry before joining everyone on the couch. They decided they would tell the boys before they started to watch movies. Kelly and Stella decided to let the boys sit in between them. "So boys we have an announcement we hope and think that both of you will be happy about" Stella started "You and Kelly are getting married " chimed in TJ both Stella and Kelly looked shocked "slow down there buddy not quite yet but we are now boyfriend and girlfriend" said Kelly. Both Billy and TJ started jumping up and down in joy "does this mean we're now brothers" asked Billy about him and TJ "something like that" Stella responded with a little laugh. The joy and relief they both felt with how happy the kids were could not be put into words.
They decided to watch "The Grinch" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" before Stella got up to make dinner while the boys went to play in their room Kelly went to switch the laundry around and start more. After Kelly got the laundry started he went to Stella "need my help with anything" asked Kelly "no but thank you I'll holler if I do though" said Stella "okay I'm about to head to play with the boys" replied Kelly. So he headed into the boys room and they all played with the trucks together while Stella cooked "what did I do that caused my dad to leave" asked Billy and to say if Kellys mouth could have hit the floor it would have was an understatement "buddy it wasn't anything you did that was all him" he replied "are you sure it wasn't me" "yes pretty certain actually" replied Kelly. Billy then changed the subject back to the trucks "hey boys I'll be right back I've just got to go check on momma Stella real quick" Kelly told the boys as he went to go see Stella "Stella Billy just said something to me that I have no clue where it came from all 3 of us were playing with his truck when he suddenly asked me what he did to cause Grant to leave. I reassured it wasn't anything he did it was all Grant but I don't know if he believed me or not because once I told him I was pretty certain it wasn't his fault he changed the subject back to the trucks and I told them I had to come talk to you" "oh my goodness. Every once and a while he'll get in this funk so to say and question why he doesn't have a dad that loves him and puts the blame on himself I'm not sure why but he always does thanks for coming to tell me I'll talk to him later" replied Stella. "I hate that for the little man" replied Kelly before heading over to Stella who he could tell was struggling after being told what Billy did and wrapped his arms around her "It's okay we'll get through this together. You can do it Stella Kidd" he said before kissing her "thank you" said Stella before planting another kiss and heading back over to finish up dinner as Kelly headed back to the boys room after giving Stella a playful smack on her butt with a smirk
After dinner was cleaned up Kelly told Stella he was going to get TJ ready for bed and school tomorrow while Billy and her talked. So they did "Dad do you think maybe Billy could start going to my moms with me when I go" "unfortunately not he's got to stay here with us" replied Kelly with a sympathetic look at TJ "but why" asked TJ "well that's Stellas son for one and for two that's your moms I'm not sure she wants my future stepson to come with you when you go as well and if I was in her shoes I'd probably feel the same" replied Kelly "but what if it's okay with mom and momma Stella" "still no" replied Kelly which led to bily storming over to his bed to lay down for bed. Kelly went to go tuck him in like he does every night "not tonight" TJ replied huffing and puffing "okay well I love you" replied Kelly before flipping off the light and walking out seeing that Stella and TJ were just about to head in there to get him ready for bed and school "just going to warn you TJs pissed off" Kelly told Stella before heading to their bathroom and bedroom to get himself ready for bed as well. He was exhausted after this weekend and today and just wanted to lay in bed watching TV
Stella got Billy in bed and kissed him goodnight telling him she loved him before heading to get herself ready for bed as well. As soon as she sat down on the bed Kelly grabbed her and threw her back onto the bed leaving both of them chuckling "someones desperate huh" Stella said with a smirk "oh yes we haven't been alone in bed in 2 nights what do you expect" Kelly responded with a curious tone Stella chuckled again "you are only a man after all" Stella said with a wink "yes" Kelly chuckled back. After they had sex and were just laying in bed with "Dateline" on TV they filled one another in on how TJ got mad because Billy can't go to his moms with him and how Billy responded overall good with the talk he and Stella had but she wasn't convinced he was as good with the conversation as he tried to make it seem. Stella decided after talking for a while to climb on top of Kelly and lay her head on his chest as he rubbed his hand through her hair with one hand and the other rubbing up and down her back "this is the most at peace with my life I've felt in a long time and a big reason for that is you and TJ I hope you both know that" Stella said out of nowhere and Kelly would be lying if he said a tear didn't escape his eye "thank you. The same could be said about you and Billy.. y'all have brought TJ and me more joy than either one of you can ever imagine and I'm so thankful for it" replied Kelly before giving her a kiss. They watched some more TV before deciding they wanted one more love making session before going to sleep but about mid session they started to hear the door knob move so Kelly down rushed on top of Stella to fully cover her up and pulling the covers over the both of them as Billy walked into their bedroom "mom and Kelly can I sleep with y'all tonight I'm scared" Stella replied "why are you scared" "what it y'all leave me like my dad did" he replied with a somber face "we're never going to do that. EVER. I'm sorry your dad did it to you but please know we won't we're not those kind of people but yes you can sleep with us tonight but could you just give us 5 minutes then we'll call you back in here" replied Kelly. "Yes sure" he replied before heading into the living room closing the door behind him "what the fuck" Kelly said grumbling as he got up and headed towards the bathroom with Stella in tow "I'm not fully sure why he's on such a kick again right now but he does go through phases of this. Atleast we got earlier together and then 2 more hours of just us talking, cuddling and watching TV" said Stella in response "I guess that's true" he said before getting in the shower. As he got out and got dressed Stella was also finally getting dressed he grabbed her waist and pulled her in for a quick kiss " I love you don't forget it" Kelly told Stella " I love you too and don't you forget it either " she replied before they headed off to tell Billy to come on so they could go to bed
As Billy cuddled up in between them and fell asleep after about 15 minutes Stella and Kelly leaned up and gave one another a quick peck before telling one another goodnight and intertwining their hands together in the middle of the bed.
